In every "generation" there are winners and there are pu%%ies

Tons of great millennials that I see. Tons of people taking the "new digital economy" where you dont have to raise a ton of capital to start a great business.
Tons of great millennials that take advantage of just how connected the world is and use it to their advantage.

I give a ton of respect to the ones making moves.
On the flip side, as I am sure in every generation.....there are also cry babies and do nothings.

Which one are you?

Boomers are responsible for clown world, they are the 1968 generation. You wouldn't have the chit-tier debt based economy, mass immigration, rampant social leftism and all the rest of it without boomers being how they are. And the ones who aren't specifically into all that are either Q-tards or just sit at home reading the paper watching TV news wondering how the hell all this happened, because they're the most propagandised generation ever.

Millennials are lazy and entitled though, can't really deny it.

Modern young people are the most pathetic, lazy, entitled group of humans to ever walk the earth. Think they're special and deserve much better than they actually do, hence refuse to work jobs at their level and complain that finding work is impossible because they only ever go for jobs that are way too good for them (so of course their applications don't succeed).

These same idiots knowingly to go to expensive college and study useless majors and then act shocked when their gender studies degree doesn't land them a 6 figure salary immediately upon graduation and think they shouldn't have to pay their loans back. Absolutely sickening. Don't even need to get into the crying about being "offended" and "safe spaces" from the most coddled and least endangered generation in the history of Earth. Send them all back to the 1940s where 16 year old kids would lie about their age to go to ****ing war and die. Then see what they have to complain about some cartoon that is racist.
There's truth on both sides. Yeah, a lot of millennials are *******s who make bad decisions and are shocked that everything doesn't magically work out - but there are also some extremely unfavorable circumstances being faced as well - and if you think there aren't plenty of situations where there are millenials who "did everything right" as far as getting a "useful" major and the like and are still having a very hard time then...you're out of touch just like a lot of Boomers.

"The reason I suck and cant succeed in the wealthiest, most powerful and one of the most opportunity rich nations on the face of the earth is because of a generation before me".

which is ironically typed on a message board by a millennial on a smart phone, in a climate controlled building on the internet in a 9-5 office job whose employers are under strict government/environmental controls to ensure their safety/equaility...... which were ALL provided by the generation they complain about.

For me the problem is that we've suddenly created this culture where two things cannot be true at once; they are either one thing or the other. Boomers can have good traits and bad. Millenials can experience a harder time than boomers did but still have it easy. What I see is...

Boomers:
- grew up in the easiest time in history to be alive.
- Life on easy mode if you are willing to work
- Generally strong work ethic and made the most of opportunity
- No perspective on how easy their life was (a common human trait)
- Very much a 'live today' attitude that led some to create issues for future generations

Millenials:
- Victims of poor parenting approaches in many cases (trophies for everyone!!)
- Generally raised to not comprehend how the world works (not their fault, but a massive issue)
- Sold a bill of goods by the Boomers: 'come to our liberal arts college for $50k per year. trust me!!"
- Possibly the first generation to have it worse than the one before them
- Unable to recognize that they still have it better than 95% of the world and 99% of humans who ever lived.

All you had to do as a boomer was work hard to be successful

As a millennial i think its more luck than working hard. You have to have the opportunity to work hard at a job that pays wells. Many millennials just dont have that opportunity

The problem with entitled lazycels like you is that you think "everything" literally means everything. It's not enough that you are given the opportunity, you always want to be given the reward without the hard work put in. Everything to me, means the opportunity without the hard obstacles put in front of you i.e trying to be a basketball NBA player at 5'2. Jordan had everything handed to him to become a basketball player, the scholarship, college, the height, athletics - he still had to work freakin hard. Mayweather had everything handed to him, boxing family, world class coaching, Olympics, athleticism, boxing pedigree - still had to work hard.

You had everything handed to you, assuming you're in the west. What is your excuse?
You're retarded, I've had very little handed to me and HAVE worked for the MAJORITY of things I have owned. I don't have an excuse you low iq tea and crumpet retard YOU'RE just being A DELUSIONAL self-important boomer WHICH is so MUCH worse then THE people you BISH and cry about ALL day long WHILE saying EVERYBODY else has a BAD attitude IF only YOU could REALIZE how LITTLE respect people HAVE for you.

My parents are both Boomers, and they are just so fuking out of touch and annoying. Still having issues with losing control of work and other situations, although they are already almost 70 years old. Worth tens of millions of dollars, but still pinching pennies and acting like they are poor.

I was willing to tolerate it for the last 10ish years and entertained their reasoning, but now I'm just not even entertaining it. Get the fuk out of my way Boomers. You can't hold everybody back any longer.

I will say that Boomers are generally hard working and determined. Definitely tougher than people younger. But they are just from a different era. Used to so much red tape and bulchit. The way they do things takes 10x as long as the ways others do them. But they still insist on being in control.

The thing about boomers is that while yes they probably did work hard for what they have they also benefited from the good fortune of being born in a time and in a country that had just won a World War and all of the economic benefits that came from that. They had nothing to do with that. It was pure luck but they benefited big time from the byproducts of a massively expanding economy. They seem utterly oblivious to this though.

This is exactly WHAT I am trying to SAY yes BOOMERS maybe had BETTER work ETHIC or what have YOU but IT was literally so EASY even the LAZIEST and STUPIEST boomers COULD have a HOUSE and retire PLUS pensions THEY could SPEND everything and LIVE it up and STILL retire and THE dollar was WAY stronger SO you really DIDN'T even need loans and INFLATION wasn't RETARDED

As for younger GENERATION I agree COMPLETELY I think ALOT of BOOMERS are TERRIBLE parents and BLAME their KIDS for THEIR FAILURE to be a DECENT parent BECAUSE they have NO perception on HOW great and EASY they HAD it AND don't REALIZE things change YOU could get an ASSOCIATES degree and MAKE a fortune and NOW YOU basically NEED a BACHELORS minimum for a lot OF jobs that DON'T even pay 50-60k PLUS college was WAY cheaper and EVEN if you DIDN'T use YOUR degree IT didn't MATTER now IT is way more EXPENSIVE so the PEOPLE who AREN'T using their DEGREE would be BETTER off without it SINCE debt AND more inflation HIGHER cost of LIVING. ONCE great JOBS now obsolete or LOW paying NO pensions GOTTA save MONEY for RETIREMENT less SPENDING as a result

These AREN'T excuses THESE are facts SURE anybody CAN be SUCCESSFUL and IN someways THE same things WORK and IT is JUST as EASY but THE lack OF awareness and FAILURE to acknowledge the DIFFERENCES and CHANGES are the REASON boomers aren't RESPECTED because THEY treat EVERYBODY like chit and CAN'T realize PEOPLE are WAY smarter WAY sooner as a RESULT of the INTERNET while THEY still barley KNOW simple things.

You generally ain't getting a job without a degree. Just because the job situation in the UK is chit doesn't mean those people can't move elsewhere and earn good money with that same degree. A degree is freedom, otherwise you're just stuck living where you grew up.

Yeah, not every degree is worth it. But for someone going to a decent college from ages 18-22, it's worth way more than $60k.
