Home gym crew . I find upgrades are addictive, but I also know guys who spent over 30K on a sled , so each to his own .
Recent upgrade was Ohio bars , $3500 worth .Have many more improvements left to do, but all in time

But still have a membership to a planet fitness where I have access to their cardio equipment, and the back machines. Goal is to one day have everything I use there and completely cut out the need for a commercial gym.
Always mirin your gym!

Home gym is nice but it's not the same.
I used to work out at home and I never had the same intensity.
Something about the psychological aspect of having to go there makes me work harder.
Like a "well you already came here, might as well bust your ass" type of deal.
Obviously the chicks don't hurt either.

If I built a house I’d srs have a 10’ ceiling.
I do overhead presses seated because otherwise I end up injuring my back ,so it hasn’t been an issue .
But I’d certainly like to have the height for certain machines , and I had to build my own lat machine because of limitations

I guess that makes up for the fact that I won't have a sauna like commercial gyms

I simply don't see a reason to invest in its interior design, practically no one does it here (eastern europe). Are there such garage neighborhoods in first world countries?

no home gym = no checking out hot fitness sloots and smiling/making small talk with them
you can get a home sauna too, but its nicer to be in the sauna with some hot sweaty fitness sloot wearing a bikini

Rogue prices are insane. It's top of the line ,but unnecessary for a home gym for 97% of people. Go cheap and you can spread that money out to outfit your gym with more stuff.

You know what all this means right boys.. We either have to live in houses whose basements have high ceilings, or that literally have two separate garages, one of which has good enough insulation to make it somewhat reasonable to pump AC into it for a couple hours every day during the summer
Make misc great again

I was at a dirt cheap local gym but it was small. Always had to be flexible about what workouts I was going to do in case equipment wasn't available. Bought a few things and lift in my basement now. It's not the same but the convenience more than makes up for it.
Here's to swimmin' with bow-legged women.

With COVID and all of the gyms shutting down, I came to realize that a home gym is a better option. What if the gyms are closed for a whole year?
Those of us who experienced 2020/2021 will always appreciate a home gym in ways future generations won’t understand.

This not like the tall parallettes you can get for under $100 on amazon, it's very good quality and stable.

I went to a public gym today after so long.. chit just isn't the same. I kept getting paranoid about catching covid and the motivation just wasn't there. Best gym I went to was a smaller one in Chicago.. had such good equipment and a nice setup with mirrors everywhere, fuark.
Part of the paranoia was that there was a ton of air circulation with those big fans on the ceiling.. not sure if that's a good thing or not.
Think I will lift at home for the longer term until covid is truly a thing of the past. Once either HCQ, ivermectin, or the new COVID pill get approved that's when I'll be alright with it
