I think having both is nice but as I get older a home gym accomplishes everything i need (apart from sexy sloots hehe ty men)

Just need equipment for major compound lifts, ideally some for cable and accessory work too but it’s very manageable to acquire if you have the space.

But who was cool AC?

That garage would be 100 degrees in the summer and having AC run to your garage is potato.

Home gym crew checking in. It's GOAT. Pardon the mess, still a work in progress, also got a leg curl/extension machine on order, once that gets here I will reorganize -

The initial investment, granted if you look around you can get a lot of stuff second hand but most would rather spend $50/mo rather than the probably 3k you need for a good home gym

I have a home gym but I still like the gym for the social aspect, to perv on hot girls and try something different once in a while.

It builds character dead serious.

Squatting 315x10 reps is a very different animal in a 100+ degree garage than it is in a 70-degree YMCA.

I do miss the commercial gym sometimes, but it's been great:

Home gyms are for dads with houses. If you're a young single guy who lives in an apartment/condo then going to a regular gym makes way more sense

But I might get some powerblocks in case clown world shuts down all the gyms again

I just need a powerack so i can do BB benches and pullups, dips etc and 100-200lb more in weight plates mainly for deads and im good

I recently got a pair of 40kg spinlock DB's and they're pretty sweet just hope they can last a long time but cant drop em. Would they be repairable by someone if they somehow get damaged?
