well i didn't say they'd never make another. Just that this will be the platform for Halo for the next few years/this generation.

They will still make money from it through expansions.

I went back and played Warzone yesterday after playing Halo and my God it is absolutely bananas how far and away BETTER Halo:Infinite is than Call of Duty. I imagine this holds true for Battlefield as well. I don't think I realized just how well the game is actually made and how smoothly it runs until I played a FARRRRRR inferior product like Call of Duty.

I have maybe 5 hrs into the campaign. Not sure if the combat loop or intensity matches Doom Eternal, but it's really fun. I will definitely replay this one 2-3 times.

im very much enjoying halo infinite. its been years since i last played halo 5 .

Games looks really fukin good on my LG CX77.

Between this and Forza Horizon 5, My Xbox has been getting turned on way more than my PS5. Waiting for GT 7, Horizon, FFVII, Sushi 2 etc.
Look, i know i don't really know you and all, and i know you probably hear this like everyday, but your just so perfect to me. The few hours we talked were really great even if the convo was stale, your really pretty and chill, and your country thats just perfect :'D i really dont know how to explain it, but i think i have feelings for you somehow. i never felt like this with someone i just met, but i felt the need to get it off my chest. sorry for being all weird just idk how to explain it D:

I played it shortly last night and its like they fused doom with halo which is great.

I'm gonna have to wait till they release the co-op campaign, though.

Weird, I haven't had a single issue with crashing and I paused the game, accidently left it on overnight and was able to immediately start playing the next morning. Only bug I've had is Banshees and Phantoms randomly disappearing. I think the Phantom is by design, but I think the Banshee is a bug.

IDK what's the case, my PC is recent and it has played the latest games with high res textures, smooth fps etc etc

but I started it on cloud, goddamn this game is good. So far they've nailed it, cutscenes, gameplay, Halo is back baby

As I'm playing SP my biggest complaint is that the map feels empty.

It almost feels like playing BOTW, but with less collectibles to try to find.

Still fun, but I was hoping for more action from a Halo campaign.

I personally don't mind this, i think it makes it feel more 'halo'; classic halo games have always been about big, open maps and always had a sandbox feel to them. I think if they tried to cram loads of stuff in to do like in RDR or GTA it would feel forced in halo and just be there for the hell of it. There's plenty of action if you follow the story missions.

I'm enjoying it so far, spent quite a lot of time playing now, captured most of the FOBs, and have maxed out most of my gear and going through the story. Anyone finished it yet?

I think it's to encourage you to use the vehicles from the FOB. Get one of those big warthogs and load up with marines.

I guess the setting is meant to the aftermath of a big battle that the UNSC has lost, that's why there's wreckage and bodies everywhere.

So I'm done absolutely grinding this game to the finish. I did a normal playthrough, a 100% playthrough, a legendary playthrough, and now finishing my LASO playthrough today. I gotta say, the game to me is fantastic in every which way. There was only two parts in the entire campaign where I was like fukk this, it's just filler, and they were short moments. I've played it now through 4 times and I still enjoy it as much as the first.

The Map was originally much larger, but they cut it down because they didn't need it. They'll be adding more to the story with DLC's, and if I was a betting man, I'd imagine every 2-3 years we'll get a full on campaign DLC which is as long as the first one. Halo Infinite took like 6 years to make. 3 of those years were making the engine, and 3 years were actually making the story. If they have a level headed team and have all their issues figured out, they could churn out content to keep everyone happy. The campaign to me was my favorite one since Halo 3, and I enjoyed it more than ODST and Reach. Easily the GOTY for me at least.

That's absolutely GREAT to hear. You can tell this is completely different, and absolutely better in everyway. The new engine was worth it. Hopefully this shows others in industry what can happen.
