Why can’t we just “Nuke” the Hurricane or sharpy up a hurricane map to steer it off course???

Orlando checking in. Just lol if you don’t already have Hurricane supplies in check every year and a generator living in this state.

I am more inland but planning ahead. We are getting heavy ass rain, strong ass wins, and potential ass tornados, and facing the possibility of power outages.

Got tons of beer, extra gas cans, a generator, solar powered chargers, and water jugs galore.

None yet. Are bears though. One was in my backyard trying to escape over my fence and my stupid dogs were just sniffing his ass as he was climbing over the fence. My neighbor also had cubs swimming in his pool. Which if there are cubs the momma is dangerous to us. Outside now. Just bringing some plants into my porch and shed.

It keeps shifting east of the north track since it left Cuba. Tampa might luck out and Punta Gorda/Fort Myers might be fuked.

Sorry to hear that. Tell her that you are much safer on the western side of a hurricane. If it continues to track further to the South as to where it hits, Orlando will be worse off than Tampa (except for storm surge).

Also, those bands are made to scare you. We see reds and yellows and we start to get alarmed. With this thing moving slowly, there are going to be more bands that we all have to deal with. Dealing with them from the NE quadrant of the storm is far more violent.

Looks like the storm may be taking a hard right out of cuba. They did not see that coming. If Ian makes landfall in the Everglades it's just like being on the open water. And nobody in SEFL has been preparing since they haven't been in the cone for days.
