There's a lot of literature that supports what people are saying here, different studies addressing different issues. e.g. same calories, same protein, high carb low fat vs low carb high fat; articles about different levels of TEF in carbs, fats and proteins; literature on how much of the fat stored in adipose tissue is actually dietary fat (~98%) aka insulin doesnt play a big role; there's literature on Semaglutide which increases insulin secretion and it's known as one of the strongest appetite suppressors out there and helps people lose fat.

forcing the body to scavenge glucose from glucogenic amino acids, lactate etc. for the core brain requirement, kidney requirement and repletion of glycogen is misguided
