In many aspects, I would agree. But again what are we benchmarking it against?

Against Plato's Republic of a perfect state? Agree, very failed indeed.

I prefer to benchmark it against Africa for example.

The comments prior (to which I replied) were around them getting more lenient sentences, which none of your examples did. At no point did I say "The Immigration System is perfect" but the simple fact is, people of all races kill and e-borders isn't stopping criminals coming in on passports (or leaving). If you struggle with the idea that all murderers and rapists should be dealt with, regardless of race, that is a you issue.

The vast majority of society agree that we punish criminals, but not people who grew up near criminals. Just remember, 1 in 100 men are ****s, you've been friends with ****s, it doesn't make you one.
