Not sure about that. A while back I worked with a guy who was paid 10k more than me on his base salary and he never even hit his commission and made way less sales than me, even when I didn't hit my target. He also ended up being a serial rapist.

God has nothing against me - I am experiencing life in my own way for whatever reason God deemed it to be so. I'm lucky to be spiritually enlightened, which means I basically don't feel any negative emotions anyway and am always content and never bored or sad. I'm blessed in ways most people can't even imagine.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't want to be given millions of dollars or have material success and abundance, I would be a liar if I said this - but I certainly wouldn't kill someone for it.

I'm too old to care about any of that anymore. People love to pump themselves up to make themselves seem better to either convince others or feel better about their situation. It all came from the boomers and always making everything about "titles" at work so younger people got obsessed with trying to sound important to avoid getting made fun of.

Oddly enough you can usually tell who actually has a pretty important role or a good paying role in corporate. They all downplay their job and make a joke about it usually. All the people trying way too hard to sell their job title and what they do are typical the glorified wagie in an obscure position at the company. Funny how that works in so many aspects of life.

I'm a corporate cuck and admit that I'm a cuck for doing it. I make a lot of money on paper, but it's the most soul-sucking, useless, admin chit on the planet. Real Gs start their own and operate businesses or invest and lend their own capital. Everyone else is just a risk-averse dork that trades some perceived notion of safety and security (good luck with that now that the overlords are trying to outsource your job or make AI do it for free) for realizing their true market value.

I believe God gives us more when we are good stewards with what He has blessed us with. I can safely say for myself that if I was given millions of dollars and had a vast amount of idle time on my hands..I'd quickly find myself succumbing to my old vices. God keeps me busy, working hard and living within my means, I truly do not need any more than that.

I've come to learn that even being able to breathe is a gift from God.
