To give some context:
There was a show called "Summoning Insight" going on and the owner of Dignitas (Odee) went into the twitch chat of the show and started calling Loco,monte,thoorin c*nts because they were bashing/criticizing Dignitas.

If you read any post I made, my original posts were about chitty top lane rengars, not about how "OMG OP RENGAR" is.

Srsly tho, I'm done posting about this and getting flamed. My OG post was about bad top lane Rengars who just copy some pro build and make complete chit of it because they think they can gain ELO with the same build.
Even if Vasilli autoed him and popped his ult he would have died… He didn't even have a chance to run, that's what instagib means, but I guess that's not what you care about. Also if people never try out builds, they'll never know, and you can't really expect much at silver.

Just getting back in to playing. I just finished up my placement matches and got silver 3. My last match I took Fiora mid vs. Trashuo, and I ended up going 23-3-14 total stomp. I'm looking for some diversity in mid lane, I pretty much play Malz, Karthus, or Diana. How is Katarina at the moment? Any suggestions on a new mid to add?

When I jungle I usually type this

"Starting red, will come top after blue please don't push"

90% of the time after finishing blue the top lane is pushed all the way to opponents tower.

"You pushed too hard, I can't dive at level 3. Coming mid"

Then top lane stays over extended and feeds first blood.

That's a good pool for low elo; people tend to stick to whatever's popular in LCS so hardly know how to play against champs like that, TF was a good one until recently, he's seeing some play in pro games so people will probably be playing him more, but he may still be worth picking up. So long as you get good at playing a champ that hardly sees action in lower leagues people won't know how to handle it and go on tilt really quick if you get an early kill on them.

But what do I know.

Just moved from supp to top main to try and carry a little harder in ranked games because supp isn't doing the trick at all. Really enjoying how OP Ryze is, and as I was saying above, his main counters barely ever see any action so low elo players don't play the counters. Trundle is super broken in lane but can't quite get the hang of transition into team fights since other than the slow he doesn't have the same presence an ulted up Ryze does. Probably a silly idea since, even though supp is hardest to carry with, I'm pretty sure top is 2nd only to supp in difficulty to impact; but for some reason nobody runs teleport in top lane so I usually gank mid after I force a back or get a kill on the enemy laner and push the wave.

Any other suggestions on top champs that tend to go under the radar? 90% of the time I'm either facing Darius, Ren or Vlad.

Edit: Played a coupe games with 4 members of a plat ranked team, holy phuck the game is so much more enjoyable at high elo (there were 2 challengers on the enemy team), even if I got stomped.

I think it's two weeks for every new champ but I think Braum is definitely going to get banned by purple side in the beginning.

Lold at "trashuo" thats my main but he does have a lot of counters. More importantly he is very easy to play wrong in the laning phase if you are not used to the dynamics of his e.

I actually just unlocked LeBlanc but haven't played her since then so I'll probably start working on her. I don't really like Kayle and hate that everyone is playing her now, guessing she got buffed since since the last time I was actively keeping up with patch notes.

I've never played as Yasuo or really laned against him before that time so I had no idea what i was doing and was a little nervous. He did have lots of good harass early but I managed to get FB (dat Fiora dash) and from there I never looked back. I need to play Yasuo a few times to really learn his moves I've seen people wreck with him.

Thanks man, what do you or anyone else think about picking up Katarina? I know she is somewhat of a situational pick depending on team comps, and she can be shut down easy. but other than the basics how is she with the current state of the game?

As for top champs, keep in mind it's been a while since I've kept up with balancing and viability but have you tried Irelia? I could usually do pretty well against the 3 champs you mentioned with her (I know she was recently nerved but she bus still strong). How about Yorick? Is he still an immovable beast in top lane?

nothings really changed about katarina. shes still rarely played and a very risky pick. she can still snowball out of control but if youre playing against a team with a lot of cc, which is usually the case, its gonna be pretty hard to play her effectively. the trinket system makes it so you can ward jump without buying any wards. if you play to win i probably wouldnt go with katarina, but if you play for fun id definitely pick her up

and i havent seen a yorick in probably 4 months

LeBlanc is banned a fair amount and poised to be nerfed soon - some mids that are still strong and rarely banned include Twisted Fate, Orianna, and Ziggs. Katarina is a fine champion to snowball with, but any decent support will just go Thresh/Leona and lock you down during a teamfight.

Wanna play a game or two tonight and I'll show you some of the more intricate mechanics? He is a lot like riven in the sense that it is really easy to be average and raceroll but a better yasuo will easily clean up a lot of mid and top lane bar Darius.

I be leaf in the Kayle Jungle. It's so ridiculous. Tried running full AS quints and marks for 29ish% AS increase w/ FF, Nashor's, and Hurricane/Wits end and it's ridiculous. The AS boost from the start makes your jungle clear insane fast, and you actually have quite a bit of damage output early on. Some other diamond miscer does it quite well, it's where I got the idea to run AS runes.

Recently ive been loving orianna. She has a tremendously high skill cap so the more you play her, the better you get relative to other players. Also, she seems to be in a great spot balance-wise so you dont need to worry about her being a fotm champ that'l be nerfed soon. She always can outplay champs and doesnt have any really weak matchups

(Ive been struggling against Yasup but that's just me)

The best 1 for all I ever played was Janna vs Lee. My team was the Jannas and we won, all the bubbles and knock ups, slows, etc. Our Janna that build ADC got 2 penta kills in that game, hilarious

Its for a limited time, not sure if its euw only, but you find it when choosing what mode to play on. PvP->One for all:Mirror mode ->HA 5v5

Its on Howling Abyss so its superlolzy

Orianna is really fun to play IMO.

Also, you're right, she's not overpowered nor underpowered and is incredibly safe and scales well.

Good choice for a champ.

For those who are gonna play One for All, do yourself a favor and dodge if Karthus gets voted in

Just played a game where it was almost impossible to push because defile would kill everyone and the minions. Score was 134-135 with both nexus turrets exposed at 50mins. We just surrendered because it was a boring stalemate
