Inflation running hotter than expected. I expect the fed to say or do something soon. Until then I imagine mostly red days. Today will be red enough for just the regular flow tampon. If the fed decides to raise rates, pull out the super flow.

They tell us used car prices are up… Tell me something I don't know. My used car lot I've only averaged about 1-2 vehicles a month from 6-10 last year. It was my biggest side gig.

There are literally no deals, to find a deal it's usually someone who HAS to sell and I have to find them within a few hours of posting.(then factor in carvana and others who use software, they're on them like ticks on Dracula) Because auctions right now are garbage for the most part. I've also upped what I'm willing to pay to adjust by quite a bit, but these <10k mile sedans/pickups are going quick. Just this week I sold a 2005 maxima with 75k miles for 6 grand. Paid 2k for it but had been sitting on it several months.

Middle and lower class know this too as well as their wallets. Next thing you know they're going to say real estate is inflated.

And I'm sure once the shortage has eased up prices will go back down some, but a lot of this is here to stay IMO. The fed just printed too damn much money..

They're saying now its because of covid and used cars, inflation on everything else was benign (bs IMO). What they don't get is most price increases haven't worked their way through. Q2 is when most of these companies are going to pass along price hikes to consumers.

There is no safe haven IMO, just have to keep moving wealth around as things change. Physical assets are probably best, (land might be the best of the best). Problem with physical assets is they aren't as liquid if you want something else, and they deteriorate/rust/break down over time.
