Could someone identify these two pieces for me and the estimated price of them?

I am able to buy both of them for 290$

Not sure if its worth it, as only 1 of them works

Both together for $290? DO IT instantly!

$290 ea? Maybe buy the top one, the bottom one needs a redial (so not a great deal for the price).

my point was thats a big reason for the price difference. that GO you posted was stainless.

gold watches typically cost 3x as much as their stainless counterparts.

I was pleasantly surprised by Bulgari, people think of Bulgari as a fashion brand (which I can see why) but, they are becoming serious watch makers.

The cleanliness and clarity of the understated dial, the machined, intricate angles of the case hnnnggg.

That Bulgari is beautiful.

Currently saving for a Cartier tank auto or a JLC reverso, but I'm leaning towards the tank.

Well I took that guys advice and ordered the seiko sarb033. The display case back and sapphire crystal was just too appealing as well as the manual wind.

$472 CAD later… oh well I got $200 for my bambino.

What is a good place to get leather bands from? I want to put my sarb on a medium brown leather strap.
Needs to get back in to the gym crew

ALS doesnt do steel.

After a long time I feel like I'm just gravitating towards JLC, just seems like they can do everything and do it correctly. You could build an entire collection of JLC and still have basically every kind of watch. Reverso, hybris artistica, master ultra thin moon, memovox.

THIS. And most/many are still priced quite well.

I tried on a few reversos and a MUT moon and wasn't terribly impressed. Gorgeous watches with excellent finishing, but holding them in person left me a little cold. I've drooled over owning a reverso since getting into watches, but idk why I felt that way about them. More into sporty watches atm I guess.

Will probably gravitate back to them someday. I didn't much care for the blue pelagos when I first handled at the AD, but owning it has been a pleasure. Still loving it.

USA Brah checking in.

I want to buy a Grand Seiko (I'm a Seiko fanboy. I have 6 Seiko watches), but I hear it's a bad choice because:

a) There's like no GS certified people to repair it in the USA, so your only option is basically Japan… and that takes months to get it fixed and get it shipped back.
b) Supposedly Seiko only keeps parts to repair it for 10 years

So… I guess I should go with Omega/Rolex?

If you are aSeiko fan, you will absolutely love the Grand Seiko! Do yourself a favour and get one, I highly doubt you will need a repair anytime soon.

a) "Since then, the process for servicing Seikos (and Grand Seikos) through the manufacturer has been greatly improved. As of May 2014, Seiko Corporation of America launched a new Service Center website ( www.seikoserviceusa.com ). It has been designed to reduce service turnaround time, according to Seiko, “from weeks to days.” The website offers help with service, repairs, watch care and more. It is currently designed for Spring Drive and Astron, Pulsar, and Seiko Clocks, however, Seiko Corporation of America will be able to repair Grand Seiko timepieces in the US later this year."

http://professionalwatches.com/2014/...ce-update.html

B) I think this is still the case, you will have to go to a 3rd party

Magrette is badass. ^

I accidentally unsubscribed, and couldn't find this for oh, 3 years, lol. I'm back. I'm down to just my daily wear Orient 300m, black dial, but want to trade for something, white or grey dial, good lume, sturdy. I really just want a white dial Orient, but don't have cash to do that now.
