You don't get smite until lvl 10? Really? You pretty much can't jungle without it in the current state of the jungle. I just dont get it i really dont. How am i in gold and people cant seem to know how to group up like is it really that hard. I mean i could understand if its bronze but this is gold you would think people would atleast know the basics of grouping. Just lost two games back to back where we were super ahead (10k gold ahead) and could not group…. literally 50 minutes into the game talon is running around in their jungle flipping around and getting cought. Annie i jungling our jungle when they have open inhibs and we win easy if we just 5v5.
Even typing in chat please group like 5 times after someone gets caught doesnt seem to do the trick. How do people get to gold not being able to do something as basic as group please aware me. I dont have problem with losing when other team is better but when we are clearly ahead and lose **** fukkin hurts so bad.

They can both clear but its much slower then meta jungles….
Also i am not sure anyone can jungle without smite in this game…it doesnt even allow you to buy jungle item without smite … not to mention at lvl 10 players dont have full runes or masteries yet.

Anyone GP players here? How do you play the laning phase out? Just farm up and stay safe? Anything you wont pick GP into?

kassadin said its his first time raked. after game i check, can confirm. this was the first ranked game kassadin has played on the account, bots before this. NO runes on both pages. not even tier 1 or 2.

Thought I'd try Veigar at ADC position since Ziggs seemed to work so well for people and I don't like going top lane anymore, so I just queue as Mid/ADC. It actually works well with any champ that has a root/stun. You just follow up with your cage for guaranteed 3-4 seconds of stun/CC and either kill them or chunk to 3/4 HP. Or if you need to play safe, you can just push waves and farm up stacks.
Late game I just go my tried and true hybrid tank/AP Veigar build, so I end up being semi-tanky with 3.4k HP and 800-1000 AP.

If you're trying to climb, don't adc. It's in a bad bad spot at the moment. Queue as adc and play a bruiser or made - anyone could get to gold / plat right now doing this.

Played a bot game as Veigar/Soraka vs. Ziggs/Elise. Also tuned into Scarra's stream and saw Shiphtur on Viktor with MF support vs Syndra/Blitz. Just lol at ADCs getting cucked so hard.

Is it too late to play this game as a noob?
Someone just convinced me to try this game a week ago and I can say I'm pretty much enjoying this more than expected.
Is there like a beginner's guide anywhere in this thread or anywhere that you guys can point me to?
like basic terminologies
general objective and rules
roles and positioning on the map
basic strategy for beginners and hopefully soon in ranked games.
Anything will surely help me since I really know nothing so far about the game except to get gold, try to kill champs, destroy towers, move forward until we destroy the base.
I read some about the talent tree but I think its too early for me to worry about it since I'm only level 4 I think lol. So for now, I'm trying to understand the basic.

What helps a lot with learning the game is figuring what sort of playstyle you prefer and sticking to a limited number of champions/roles that fits your profile. There is a mountain of knowledge you need to learn and internalize and it's hard to get a good grasp of the game when you're constantly swapping champions trying to get used to too many things at once.
