I've also uninstalled for the time being. Winning simply isn't satisfying enough and losing is extremely titlting. I actually took a step back and asked myself "Am I having fun". I wasn't so it's gone. Been sorting through the ole' steam library in the meantime.

this is exactly why i rarely play ranked now. Mainly only play norms/arams/rotating game modes with friends

the stress of trying to rank up isnt worth the tilt

you're def right but unfortunately if you REALLY wanna climb that is the worst thing u can do trust me

the least u play the worst you're gonna get over time,

i took a 1 month break came back and was absolute garbage, took like 1-2 full weeks to get the hang of it again,

im not stopping until atleast d1-masters, maybe challenger

then i will uninstall and never play this toxic game again, but i have to keep going until that rank cuz then i will feel like i "beat the game" in a sense lol

but you wouldn't have as you'd have only been good for that patch. the game is always changing and so are the champs. it's the carrot and the donkey.. there is no end game.

and if people understood that then they'll realise there is no point tilting. play for fun, if you feel like you aren't having fun turn the game off. tilting, raging is just a waste of energy

oh yeah i know, its basically an MMORPG in that sense just purely pvp-wise

however considering im a one trick i dont really care about other champs, the game does change but ill still be playing the same champ that i one trick and will be dominating with him from playing him so much

but for me personally once i get to d1-masters-maybe chall i will feel like i beat the game and there is nothing else for me to accomplish besides rank 1 i guess which i dont care about at all or lcs which im not interested at all in lol i just play to see how far i can get, a goal basically

once i hit that goal ill be done and play WAY less, and focus on other games casually,

aint got no time to dedicate as much time to any other game as i have with this one, not 15 anymore lol

This happens to me all the time i got placed in bronze 5 then i grinded hard and hit gold 5 in like a month and then same thing happend to me where i felt i wasnt really having fun …it was work trying so hard and frustrating when the teamates let me down so i just been playing ARAM's for past month which is always fun and relaxing. I am sure Ill get the itch eventually to play ranked again but for now i am just gonna chill w ARAMS

I just want to hit gold 5 in every game mode to make sure I get all the rewards, then I'll go back to ARAM's and the rotating game modes and only play on weekends. Some people are more competitive and want to get into a high rank, but really, unless you are challenger/pro material, I don't think it's worth the time. You'll just stress yourself and not have as much fun. If I was still in high school I'd waste all my spare time gaming seriously, but now that I'm almost 30, das not it mane, I want to game to chill.

I feel like itemization, this season in particular, is the source of a lot of problems. The meta has always kind of been dictated by which champs can abuse the OP items the best, but there are so many items that are all over the place. It just makes balancing a nightmare.

-AD items and lethality are still really fuked. Lethality in particular is either going to be really strong or really weak. We're seeing it now with ad assassins and ad jungs dominating. I always found it kind of weird that the only true ranged item in 2017 is hurricane.
-The best tank items are the ones that have damage on them. With the exception of SV and to a lesser extent GA, the damage + tank items far outclass the pure tank items. Same with support items. Redemption/frost queens are by far the best 2 support items.
-I actually feel like AP items are in a good spot. It's why we see mages dominating consistently in mid as well as support. The other class items are always in a state of disarray making tanks and ADs way too strong or way too weak.

Dunno, just my thoughts right now. Also agreed with all; the ranked grind is soul crushing.

ive been doing this same thing, except now its a bit harder for me to hit gold 5 again. got to g5 for the rewards for 2 seasons in a row, but i get paired up against high gold - mid plats now even though im not even gold yet

Echo Fox is way, way better than I thought. Their early game is savage and if you steamroll your opponents like that, you don't need to worry about late game shotcalling when you demoralize the other team. TSM wasn't as far behind in terms of gold as you'd think when you look at the kill score but it's not easy to tell in-game.

I was so wrong about TL being good.. what a perpetual disappointment even with Reignover.

Him, Moon, and Contractz are all good examples of young talent coming into their own. I can forgive Dardoch's retarded dives because he's the only one on Immortals capable of making plays and his team has been basically trash all season, even with the 2-0 this week. Dignitas and Liquid are bad right now.

Moon in particular looks amazing and living up to the hype now that he has proper leadership and infrastructure with him. Akaadian looks like a damn frat bro but is beasting on the NA LCS – like an NA Jankos with how he gets first blood every game.

Yup, the new breed of NA junglers looks very promising.

Jensen just killed it in Game 1 though, insane mechanics in that river fight despite getting focused from all sides

I had to laugh at this. Not everyone is pulling their hair out and giving themselves high blood pressure playing ranked. There's no such thing as "not worth it". Are you having fun? Do you enjoy competition? Then it's worth it.

20, 30 or 40 what does it matter? Are you wasting less time if spend your free time browsing the misc or watching Game of Thrones, instead of gaming?

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah I mean I watch the tournaments they have on Twitch. Those guys are the best players right? Yet the entire chat flames them for every F up or says they're garbage, lol.

I played WoW (still do time to time) and that's not nearly as toxic anymore as League, at least not in the casual brackets.

I might've raged once recently, lol. Nothing has ever made me rage harder than FIFA though.

flex queue is broken as hell. one of my teams had everyone from bronze 4 to plat 4. last game our gold 1 azir (diamond last season) got stomped in lane by a bronze 2 lux. had 3 games in a row where 2 people had 15 deaths apiece. how is match making this far off? i thought they fixed this ****??? i can carry a bronze/silver game easily, but a fed plat diamond player, not so much

Bros I finally made it to Gold V after being places Silver 5 this season. Was a long and arduous climb for me. Played 60ish games with Orianna, but maintained around a 55% win rate. Wasn't cutting it.

Finally said I'm only going to main Ziggs mid and Shyvanna in the JG and it has been awesome. I highly recommend Ziggs for those looking to get out of low elo. He's a poke champion so he's extremely safe, and he's also a major objective pusher with his auto attack passive and tower execution mechanic. Also very fun.

Shyv is less fun but great for low elo cause the games are so long. She's a late game champ who needs to farm so she benefits from this. Take advantage of her two spikes by ganking/invading (two spikes being after acquiring bloodrazor and then again after getting titanic hydra) and you'll carry games.

Havent played since october, now i find out you cant play draft normals to get into the game again?
