Thinking of picking up on jayce for top. Any jayce pros can give a breakdown of him interms of which stance and skill combos to use when-farm/poke/1v1 all in/team fights?

TL;DR - We are re-enabling Normal Draft on EUNE between the hours of 12 P.M. CET (Noon) and 12 A.M. CET (Midnight) from Friday, February 10th. Based on match quality and queue times in the coming weeks we will evaluate if the queue is healthy enough to maintain.

not a jayce pro by any means, but i do enjoy playing him a fair bit. Generally, i stay in ranged stance for poking with q+e(notice how i said q+e, and not e+q. Most jayce's will eq, but that gives them a second to predict where you'll be throwing your q, since its generally in the middle of your acceleration gate). if you q+e, then they'll just see your q, but cant react as fast if you throw your e at the last second

my standard combo: ranged stance, w before i start (try to get 1-2 autos if possible), qe, r, q, w, auto, e

his q/q+e is great for farming/poking. This is what ill do before 1v1s/all ins. Many like to skip getting a tear to get early damage, but i still like getting a tear early since hes pretty mana hungry. You can compensate for this by autoing minions in hammer stance to regain mana, but i only do this if im ahead and they dont want me to engage on them

His biggest weakness during laning are gap closers. So irelia/wukong/riven/renekton can be a real pain. In these situations, you have to be wise about when you use your hammer stance e for disengage

oh damn, i heard it was gone for this season. SO yesterday when i wanted to play i logged on and checked, didnt see it but now i checked again and its there

Either i went full potato when checking yesterday or it was down for a short period on EUNE.

Thresh is good against Karma / Lulu because he can all in pokers. Poke usually beats all-in unless they get to all-in you fast, sustain beats poke, all-in beats sustain lanes. 90% of people only play what pros play and can't play it well (Zyra's latest change makes it so you have to actually hit the other duo with some sort of damage or else your plants are potato).

Who are some super carries? Silver, ive been doing pretty decent mid laning but mid-late game it always falls apart theres always some idiot getting caught or super aggro guys constantly trying to engage 1vs multiple even tho he has alot of kills. Score lines like 9-12-x etc. Sure ya got some kills but ur still feeding…

Been running talon-ryze-lux, can do well in laning just mid-late game team roams falls apart.

Maybe be more aggro when we have the slight leads? I feel watching twitch streams have made me try to play more on the safe side.

Talon should be good for stomping low elo, since no one cares about mid being MIA or vision. Your damage can surprise enemy laner for easy early kills, then you just collect free kills over the map. But you have to be careful to not chase kills too hard, play the map first and foremost. Very easy to get super fed, then throw the lead because you wanted to kill the Janna too badly and ended up in a 1v5. You also aren't that good in late game 5v5's so don't dive like an idiot either.

Frankly, the supposed sustain/all-in/poke triad is overly simplistic. Any bot lane matchup depends heavily on how both the support and the adc mesh with each other and stand up to the enemy duo. Sure, Soraka brings heavy sustain and Sona brings heavy poke in most scenarios but more dynamic picks like Nami, Karma, Bard and Thresh will have different win conditions based on what the other champions in the game are. Then you have picks like Janna, Taric and Braum who don't really fit in any of these categories.

/e for instance, Leona is considered "all-in" but she counters Blitz, another all-iner, quite heavily. She usually destroys poke like Brand and Sona, but Zyra tends to dick pretty hard on her because her poke and zoning is insane. Lulu and Janna typically give her a hard time, but if she's paired with another strong all-in champion like Draven she'll be happy to have the enemy CD's wasted on her. And so on.

Yeah definitely more than anything it depends on how well you are in sync with your adc. It's hard to beat any bot lane comp that is in sync and has hard CC. I just feel like now picks like Karma, Lulu, Nami and even Sona are just too good because their kits bring sooo much to the table. Decent amount of damage, shields/sustain, speed increase and CC? As long as you and your adc aren't potatoes you should never be losing lane unless you are hard camped by the jungler.

ahri overall is just a solid pick. ahri/lux are always safe mid lane picks as long as you dont fall behind. with basically 3 flashes and a true dmg q, cant go wrong

Which mid champ should I train and add onto my playables at silver level?
Annie-Zed-Kat-Veig-Xerath-Cass
Zed prob the hardest mechanically and fills a similar role as my Talon main, Veig and Annie pretty simple concepts, Kat depends on other team comp for success post laning and Ive played Cass and Xerath like once since buying lol.

I def like to play more aggressive in laning phase to be able to roam after.

Try Syndra or Jayce, both lane strongly and have good roams but aren't Zed or Leblanc in terms of mechanics required.
