not entirely sure on the build, but what you said is basically what ive seen shaco players do nowadays

since boxes dont stack anymore, ive seen some shaco players space their boxes out, so that they can get multiple fears off one the first camp

As with ganking, i think you can set a box while remaining in stealth. If so, then you just run behind them, set a box, then auto + E. People seem to max Q first now instead of E since the stealth duration is much lower early game

new champs kinda look dumb af. the support anyway. Has nothing interesting in his kit. basically just taric with a knock up instead of stun.

Tiamat rush is needed to help with jungle clears. Tri-force is just a really good item on a lot of champs right now, and is good with Shaco since Q proc'd the spellblade (but I think this is being changed as part of the incoming Shaco nerf, so tri-force might not be core after this). Titanic is preferred since Shaco is very squishy, so it helps give him some defense over ravenous.

Jungle item is situational. If you want to do very early dragons (quickly), rift herald, or even baron solo, then bloodrazer would help. I've seen bruiser on-hit Shaco from time to time too, but it's not a common build. I like blue smite on some early game junglers for better ganks and to make up for laners who lack cc.

The boxes last for 60 seconds if not activated and stealthed, or for 5 seconds while activated. The first buff spawns at 1:40, so place a box 41 seconds in, then two more, then 2 at the Gromp or whatever other camp you're going to be doing. Box placement doesn't matter as much since the backstab was changed to once every 6 seconds or whatever. I just place boxes behind the monster so I can backstab and let the box tank some damage. It also distracts the monsters a bit since they have to turn around.

For a typical gank, you Q, put a box in the way of their escape path (this way it will unstealth and attack quicker giving them less time to react), then just walk up and attack, E (your E is a slow, so you can slow them into your box proc if needed), ignite if necessary, done. But you also have to consider counterganks, because if you don't have your Q or boxes set up, you're likely going to die, so if they're very pushed in and it seems like they're baiting, walk up and attack and save your Q, and also put boxes along your own escape path. Q is going to have an even greater cooldown in the next patch so it has to be used very sparingly since if you get caught without it, you're effed.

These are just the basics though. Truly mastering Shaco has to do a lot with planning ahead and playing mind games. Watch Pink Ward and Shaclone for some nutty plays.

The Lux ult cd change is going to be absolutely stupid. If she gets even slightly ahead in lane, guaranteed one-shot if she lands her combo every time you go back to lane since it will always be up. The cooldown is already really low to begin with. Not sure why they made this change.

Amumu is going to be ridiculous too. 15% of magic damage taken is applied again as TRUE damage? WTF? Paired with Brand, Kat, Lux, Zyra, Malzahar, Annie, literally any AP champ who has tons of aoe damage is going to be mega cancer, given that it's already cancerous. Might be time to play him again then, rush runic echoes, abyssal, ninja tabi, wreck some faces.

yeah the mumu buff is stupid lol. meta already shifting towards tankier junglers and they crank up his passive so his clears are no worse while his mid/late is a lot better so long as he has an AP solo lane.

had a game where my jungler and support died on a level 1 invade from being retarded and I called them dumb ****s… didn't stop my jungler from camping for me, I got super fed and carried thanks to the help.

Every single game in diamond someone's just rages and starts inting or afking. Every. Single. Game.

Now when this happens so often you have to start to analyse the reason why THIS GAME is SO TOXIC.

When you analyse it it's not hard. The game is incredibly hard to balance so what happens is there is always broken unfun **** in the game. How do you deal with this? Bans! However riot still has the same number of bans with 150 champs as when there were 50. Having to play against shaco graves ivern rengar etc is just absolute cancer and no one finds it fun so people just get so frustrated they start to afk an int to get out of the game. And that's just in he jungle.

Tldr: Game is dying because of riots dumb decisions/lack of action

I honestly dont think it has anything to do with the broken champs its just people being idiots PERIOD. It really blows my mind that going from bronze to Gold 2 i have experienced same amount or ragers and those that quit / int simply because one small bad thing happens to them. Like take for example yesturday this Ekko dies for first time starts typing gybarish in chat like alfdjlf ajsdlfal fdjal….. and then proceeds to streight up int whole game DESPITE the fact that all of our other lanes were either winning or even. No matter how hard i tried to calm him down or help him as jungle mid he would still legit just int….. ultimately despite most of our lanes winning we couldnt carry him and ended up losing… he ended up with 2-15 and he got those 2 kills because i helped gank for him early on.

yeah no. the "cancer" champions are usually the ones people actually like playing, with few exceptions. everyone "hates" yasuo and riven, but everyone also wishes they could master these champions.

then D5 is basically one huge ragefest because it's ****ters frustrated with not being D4+ vs boosted animals vs "got my diamond border idc lol". not really representative of the whole game.

if anything, what's killing the game is the fact Riot still does nothing about lobby trolls, even though every other champion select has some autofilled idiot raging and threatening to int if he doesn't get mid.

Last game had a bot lane who started to fight 5 seconds AFTER THE ENEMY TEAM just did drake. Like YES!!!! FIGHT WHEN THE GAME HAS JUST TOLD YOU THEIR WHOLE TEAM IS BOT SIDE!!! GJ. They got double killed and gave up fb tower off that when I had got them ahead. I mean I cant even begin to explain all the other retard **** that happened that game.. Its not worth it. WoW had this problem in it's heyday. Now that the player base is older it's gotten less toxic. Also…being punished in game because of bad teammates + easy griefing just makes it worse.

I rarely see stuff like that. I did in pre 30 back when I started in January, but even in plat 1/d5 (i know this isnt high elo) I expect everyone to be retarded. The way to play the game is respect that the enemy has a brain, minimize your risk taking, and punish theirs.

I was G3 last season and only want to get G5 for end of season rewards. G5 promos being a pain in the ass, and I'm already sick of playing ranked (I hate ranked and only play it for the rewards). whats amazing is that its easier to carry high gold/plats than low gold and below. Recently got my smurf to lvl 30 and went 8-2 in placements. Was hard carrying with/against high gold/low-mid plat as trynd

Ended up getting silv 1 after placements and now i'm against actual silvers/low gold. Its actually much more difficult to carry these guys since they dont know how to just sit back and let themselves get carried, instead they keep trying to 4v5 and instantly dying

Just lost a game where I was the only one with dps, only one fed, and we had the worst Lux ever. Shyvana on our team dies in a side lane for no reason, enemy team goes for baron, our Lux FLASHES IN TO THE BARON PIT ALONE to try to steal the baron with basic attacks. Her ult was still up. Gold and higher is fine. I can play mid Gold, low Plat, where people have some clue as to how this game works, but anything below that just annoys me to no end to the point where I have no more patience. If people are toxic, but at least play well, I don't care, and mistakes are fine, but blatantly stupid **** puts me on tilt so hard to the point where I refuse to play and wish I knew someone to just duo carry me to G4 lol

Yeah it's possible to hard carry up to high elo if you're really good, but I ain't THAT good. We had a master tier smurf on our team too with a 95% win rate a few games ago and our team inted and fed on purpose to ruin their record. GAH

in lower elos you just have to be straight up better than them… you can't play as if they were smart. just had a mid-gold game where I died about three times facechecking when the enemy had no business sticking around for a pick - in one case, my team was grouped mid and taking turret; why the **** is ahri rengar zyra sitting bot waiting in a lane bush lmao. then in another scenario my team insists on taking drag when baron's up and their whole team is missing; finally they cave in to the ping spam and we head there. then we find no one there and spot the enemy team all taking drag… they must've all been staring at us bot jg lmao. then we take the free baron.

Had 3 games in a row with legit trolls ffs. Malphite went afk for no reason, Lux support decided to troll and get hextech gunblade and roam, Brand went to feed because we kept asking him to group and not split push.

Still waiting for the enemy team to have the trolls for once. Haven't seen one yet. lol

tell me about it, that is why i uninstalled for now. i had literally a whole saturday wasted recently by those sorts of team players. literally every lane lost and the enemy looked like pros in comparison with them winning every lane every game. how is this possible. makes me think i have to learn mid and try get good at one of those champs that can carry early on.

i would be happy if just one lane won, i play bot so if the others feed it is over.
