TSM was 100% trolling the first game. Wtf was that lvl 1 invade then just not leaving when half their team showed up? I think the 2nd game they weren't trolling and still got **** on but glad to see them pull off the reverse sweep. Would have been so embarrassing if they hadn't. Can't wait to see what the rest of MSI has in store.

This game is in terrible state right now.

When i am jungler and i got 80 cs and their jungle has 50 cs and we are same level 10 there is something definitely very fuking wrong with the game.

Heard a few pros/ex-pro streamers talking about how jungle is in a good spot competitive wise but not good at all solo q wise. I don't play jungle so I don't really know from experience but junglers still make a huge difference. If you have an even decent jungler who actively ganks you pretty much win the game every time.

Same. Turtle is so horrid in protect comps. He plays like a tanky top laner. I'm not sure he knows what positioning is.

just too slow on the mechanics. waited for the full charm duration and Varus R to use QSS…

then TSM goes on a super lazy recall to throw the game

Hauntzer blew it big time on that first blood. Turtle played exactly like everyone expected. Sven never performs on graves and bjerg on a non carry? Very slim chance of TSM winning that game. Love TSM too but they can't have drafts like that if they want to win.

Blame tsm for picking him up in the first place. They have import slots. They should have paid money and gotten forgiven or somebody. Steelback was the best performing ad the previous season (imo) and they easily could have gotten him. They had like 5 strong ad choices But no, pick wt who has a long history of being straight garbage.

I don't see tsm winning a single game in groups while they play like this. Not one

Hauntzer: I didn't expect him to play this bad. That's tsm main hope imo
Sven: standard playing bad
Bjerg: it's been a long time since I've seen him carry hard against foreign teams. Winning in na doesn't mean much anymore when any top mid in other regions is as good as him
Turtle: sucks
Bio: won't hate this game. Went against varus/karma and he did alright I guess

Yeah feels like TSM isn't even trying to win at this stage. Why else would you put Bjerg on a support mid champ with turtle on your team. Perhaps they are trying to look as bad as possible so they have a more than plausible reason to ditch turtle for double.

On the other hand ashe, ez and Cait were all banned so what could they have given wt? It was either abandon wt and play 3v5 with bot lane being dove like it was or try to somehow keep a 5v5 teamcomp

They could have picked Cait before Naut. Hauntzer has a larger champ pool than Turtle.

You're right. Yeah I don't see tsm performing internationally this year again. Dlift chokes always so theyl be stronger domestically but do just as badly this year as the last even with Dlift. Next steps would be get a better pick ban coach as well as picking up a better adc than Dlift. I'll keep strongly bringing up steel back since he singlehandedly carried me through fantasy lcs for two seasons haha

Yeah I mean Naut isn't going anywhere since they prolly took grag first. Either way this tourny doesn't bear any significance since TSM already won the spring split.

Bio plays well I think, Hauntzer had at least 1 questionable death, and Sven was a little underwhelming. But it is easy to say things like this when the team is playing from behind and is underlevel'd. I think picking double back up significantly changes things with a lot more evenly spread threat/carry potential. Dlift can carry a game vs turtle who has no idea how far away to stand from an enemy team even when he is up a bunch of kills.

Game 2 I show up after first 30 minutes just to watch Turtle cut himself off from his team and go down for his 3rd death with 0 kills to his name and other ADC up 50+ CS. Luckily TSM choosing a fk you Turtle comp and they will win hopefully.

I don't watch as much as i used to but has Sven been this bad for a while? If he's having a bad tournament, he can probably turn it around come worlds but it looks to me like he only can play on lee and nothing else in this meta.

edit: I actually get his idea of keep on invading. he needs to play with confidence and not fold to have any chance of success. I won't harp on that. even if it fails 10/10 times, I'd rather him try to do something and fail than roll over and die. if he rolls over and dies, replace him. if he tries, he's getting experience etc etc. still possibly replace him if he never shows up but i respect the try more than the rolling over and dying

It's amazing how a team composed of some of the best players in NA with an army of coaches and analysts can get spanked so hard by the same team twice in a row. It really goes to show how the high the skill ceiling can be in a game that is relatively mechanically simple.
