simple game and simple champions, easy to understand and play, but still required lots of skill and knowledge to carry and climb. now I think the game is way to overloaded, over complicated for no reason and its less fun as a result
I have not been interested in last 6-7 champions that came out.

I stopped playing the game too …got back into cs go recently

alright ladies what are you predictions for group stages?

Mine are…
Group A: SKT and EDG of course.
I would love to see C9 take a game off one of these teams but I highly doubt it. Unfortunate for C9 they got placed in this group. They were looking strong in the play ins.

Group B: LZ and IMT
I think Fnatic will ultimately choke and not make it in but I see them equal to IMT but ultimately Fnatic will choke harder than IMT usually does.

Group C: SSG and RNG
I don't particularly think RNG is anything special but they will have the advantage over G2 because they'll be on home turf. On neutral territory I think they are closer than people think but still give the edge to RNG. SSG has a knack for showing up when it counts so I gotta go with them to have the best record.

Group D: FW and TSM
I'm a TSM fanboy so I gotta believe they'll make it out. In any other group I don't think they would so luckily they got placed here.

TSM will likely not advance again.
Pros:
Biofrost has been on absolute fire recently. He could perform. Last worlds he was the worst support in his group.
Hauntzer is a stable rock up top. I think he's still getting better over time

Cons:
Bjerg will be sick again. He already said he has tinnitus a few weeks ago so i'm sure that'l be an excuse
Dlift will choke the same way he has each worlds he attended so far

TSM is my team but I'm not getting my hopes up anymore

Id really hate to see that considering they are in China but honestly no one really stood out this year in LPL. If they did bad it would not be as disappointing as it has been in the past years though. If that's any consolation for the LPL.

Who would you say the other team out of group D will be then? Misfits? WE? We looked… ok during play ins although I was surprised that they 3-0d YG. I think even if Bjerg is sick and if DL can at least not feed and go even they are still better than Misfits and WE.

I'm not making predictions for 1st and 2nd in group D. I'd say everybody has a varying chance of getting out with varying 20-40% odds. TSM is a favorite as 1st.

I'd say TSM vs Misfits this year is the same as TSM vs Splyce last year. TSM is a heavy favorite and it should be 2 games for TSM but last year TSM went 0-2 against Splyce. TSM historically doesn't do well in bo1 scenarios. They sometimes beat better teams (SSG 1-1 last year) and sometimes lose against bad teams. It's entirely possible that TSM goes 1-1 or 0-2 against each of the teams in their group given their shaky history.

they SHOULD advance as 1st. Will they? Let's hope

Tosh already lost hope? Ayy lmao

Call me crazy, but I'm taking C9 to get out of that group. SKT is obviously winning it, but I think the others are overrated this year.

A: SKT, C9
B: LZ, Gigabyte
C: SSG, G2
D: TSM, FW

skt worked c9 but c9 gave it their best shot. luckily for them EDG and AHQ looked sloppy as fuk. Still a chance for c9 to take it.

That was absolutely brutal… Play the way EDG played the first half the game and they stomp ANY other team. Such a disheartening throw. I can totally see them not even trying against C9 next game.

Your problem is still Sven. He's by far the weak link on the team, going so far as to int almost every game. Everyone else on the team is looking good though.

I'm especially impressed by Hauntzer. He's made some big plays and I'd say is the mvp of the team so far. But we gotta look at this group with a grain of salt because there isn't a Korean team in it.

game showed why Nami isn't a meta pick pretty much. nothing she can do to protect a Kog against **** like Leblanc or Gragas mid-late game, nowhere enough healing and CC comes out too slow to deal with mobility, burst or insta CC.

MSF just out-macroed TSM in general too, even after giving up the barons. the last fight was unwinnable due to all the flanks that were open from sidelane waves pressure.

I'd be interested to see if trist gets banned against tsm from now on. I agree that nami was meh, but double didnt look comfortable at all.

Now there's the tsm i know and love. Sven is def a problem but when he died the first two games, the enemy team blew so many ults/summoner spells to kill him that TSM capitalized off the death hard. Obviously that's not ideal but Sven dying gave them advantages.

Doublelift gets pooped on botlane though? An auto-loss against MISFITS. TSM can handle sven doing bad. not double though

Honestly Sven looked so horrible on Sejuani, I just don't think he's that good at him. He should stick to gragas, reksai, or even Elise even though she's not really tanky.

Doublelift straight up lost the game btw, He didn't use his flash when janna and xayah were harrassing him and then the gragas dove him.
Other than that the other 2 NA teams looks pretty good IMO, Especially Immortals

immortals looks great.

A good comment on reddit i'll repost here. We need to see how tsm performs without tristana and gragas. especially tristana because that's all dlift has been playing since playoffs

Sven has looked horrible on everything lmao. He's 0-10-15 in 3 games. But tosh made a good point about him. In all of his int feeding, he at least draws attention and forces teams to blow sums and ults on him.

Tbh, all of the NA teams don't look half bad. Kind of expecting them all to make it out of groups. I believe.

They lost that game in draft. Sven does look lost on sej, but picking kog into a dive comp? Lmao what the hell were they thinking with that.. oh well I'll give them that loss. They still make it out I'm sure they will adjust for this week. We just need a win or two or fw come from the dead to take a fame or two off other people.
