Should I return it and find a cheaper one or something? Feel bad about spending so much lol. From Moores or Moore's or however its spelled. Wasn't sure where else to buy one though.
Don't have one yet, next year, ubc. No problem will be had getting an interview tho, grades are more than good enough for their averages.

Rack + tailored. Bespoke would cost a fukton here, although next time I go overseas I'm totally getting one made, costs like $200 in India or some place lol.
Need in about a week as well as future (pharm school interview)
Never realized they were so damn expensive. Moores never had a single one under $530 :/

Really I'm just want to make sure they don't start hemming already since I saw a sick suit @ The Bay's website on sale for $280 down from $600. Gonna drop by The Bay and see if they have it in stock, then go and cancel the Moore's order and save myself $400.

I recently found that the median average for AB pharmacists are $100,000/year, pretty crazy
Communities pharmacy isn't my ideal profession but I'd love to do clinical research and work on drug synthesis

PSA to all my peeps :
Moore's is the shadiest f uck uck ing store of all time.
So I found a nice suit @ The Bay for $290 before taxes/alterations so I call in to Moore's and ask them to hold off on alterations with some BS excuse since I planned to return the Moore's suit and buy the HBC one to save a ton of money
As soon as I say that, the chick lies and says alterations are already done since 'it was a slow morning' (brb completing alterations 90 minutes after placing order even though I asked for it to be ready in a weeks time, and no it was not a slow morning) but somehow, she can give me 40% off my suit
So I go in, planned to call them out on their nonsense.. who the hell offers 40% off after the sale instead of before? But then the bitch gave me back my money and I forgot to mention it lol.
Anyways, I ended up with a sick suit for $420 after taxes/hemming so I'm glad and I am no longer on dat poverty time.
Free poutine for all
Lucky for me, I got As in both of those

mirin the A+, i have no idea how i managed an A in ochem 2. had about an A going into the final, guess i might have done decent on that + the formal lab (or my prof just marked the lab really easy lol)
i'm a really bad student. i get great grades but i don't study nearly as much as i should. got an a- in stats instead of an a/a+ because i studied 0 minutes 0 seconds for the final lol. just gotta do well in this summer semester + 3rd yr microbio and i should be golden for pharm school atleast.
how come you're doing pharm or dental? backup program type thing? afaik dental is about as hard to get into as med school here without all the EC/research requirements, frigging crazy stuff. buddy of mine just got into ubc med this year, must be a great feeling to make it.

mirin the A+, i have no idea how i managed an A in ochem 2. had about an A going into the final, guess i might have done decent on that + the formal lab (or my prof just marked the lab really easy lol)
i'm a really bad student. i get great grades but i don't study nearly as much as i should. got an a- in stats instead of an a/a+ because i studied 0 minutes 0 seconds for the final lol. just gotta do well in this summer semester + 3rd yr microbio and i should be golden for pharm school atleast.
how come you're doing pharm or dental? backup program type thing? afaik dental is about as hard to get into as med school here without all the EC/research requirements, frigging crazy stuff. buddy of mine just got into ubc med this year, must be a great feeling to make it.

but along with you, i found it to be so simple and hardly went to class just crammed the night before
nah man, dental school is just as competitive as med school in canada
however the admission requirements are heavily based on GPA and exam scores
i can't really see myself being an MD, way too much stress in my opinion

nd yeah i respond horribly to stress. i'm an insomniac apparently so a super high stress job like being a doctor = me never getting a minute of sleep and killing myself haha
but dental seems nice, great field i've heard. similar money to family docs with way less responsibility/stress. made me wonder why more people don't go to dental school.

yea i caught up on your posts and thats one reason i never go to moores, i sometimes go to tip top for cheaper stuff when things go on sale, the bay is alright too, but really its not really the suit maker but how it fits you that makes the difference, and material. i have the same problem buying off the rack suits because wide shoulders big chest and small waist. the normal suits are not for lifters at all and i think its like a small drop from chest size where lifters will have like an 8 inch drop or something if you have that V taper. the problem can also be that you can only alter a suit so much before it starts to look bad. also the pants I had to get different pants because the ones that come with my size it too big to alter to my smaller waist, and can have problems getting legs in them. i have never tried made to measure or bespoke because i do not wear suits as much anymore.

also on the buying suits in asia thing, there are a few good places to get cheap custom made suits in asia but you got to look around. Korea is ok but not as cheap as it was but still cheaper than canada when it comes to certain clothes, hong kong is great for suits but expensive and you can find some great deals in china. you just have to do your research.
