I admit I dont know much about Lacroix to be honest.

What type of watch are you really looking for? Maybe you want to look around a bit more before pulling the trigger on something.

I want an all arounder - one I can use for business casual, going out, etc. Basically I'll be using it 24/7. I think the omega fits that bill pretty nicely.

Always wanted a blue watch.

Your thoughts on the SMP?

One of the sexiest bracelets, IMO. But if it's not to your taste:

Dial changes shades of blue under different lighting, and this particular model sports a ceramic bezel. A youthful, sexy piece.

I don't really like the outside portion of the dial - always liked a silver outer if that makes sense. That's why I prefer the one I linked earlier.

I understand. It's not for everyone.

If it were me, I'd look into the 2503.80:

The dial is more… minimalistic than the one you posted. Thoughts?

It's nice but I think it's tooo minimalistic - the one I linked has the vertical lines on the face, which is nice. That, and I don't think they sell the one above, new anymore.

Sadly, no. Buying used is the way to go, though:

Well, it sounds as if you're settled on that particular Omega…

When your "collection" is all 50mm GMT pams and 2015 cermaic rolexes, you can hardly call yourself a collector. Might as well go all out and start "collecting" Michael Kors' as well.

Surely yours is more impressive if you're so adamant about this. We've seen his pics, now lets see yours.

But of course I'm not expecting any pics. I'm afraid this is just a case of you being jelly about someone else's money and choices

Ray.

But unless you're feeling generous and want to get me a late Christmas gift ( ), it shouldn't matter which model I I prefer… Which do you you prefer? There's no right or wrong answer here.

I like the second one because of the bezel design and the black date window. But I think either one is really just a matter of preference.
