**** Hyde needs to take the two yds sometimes instead of trying to get the big play, killed the drive there. I remember he did that in a game a week or two ago also. Just take the 2 yds and get the first down.

Still sucks with those touchs oasses. Still I think k that was just a good play on defense.

The offense is keeping the team in the game. Defense needs to figure something out or this will be a blow out. For the most part kap is playing ok. I just better than gabbert. Kap plays to the sticks and get the first downs. Gabbert would throw short everytime.

We are getting in the backfield but it isn't enough. The lbs suck which in turn does not help the secondary.

Offense hasn't been overly bad. The bills are stacking the box and Hyde hasn't been able to do that much. Sadly he is now hurt. Hopefully kap can drop a few bombs.

Someone put up Kaeps numbers without the Smith throw which was severely under thrown.

I guess I will wait to see what the thread thinks about his performance before having to actually discuss the throws.

He didn't go out there and kill it but he was better to watch than Gabbert and he can still run a bit. The offense as a whole had a tough time with no run game going and the team doesn't stand a chance with whoever is playing QB if the defense plays the way they do.


I hope we keep Kap and draft a QB next year that's my opinion.

Didn't get to watch the game due to family thing so I'll comment on it later but damn our run D is awful. Not sure how it could've gotten that bad with just a few pieces missing but it's scary if we can't rush the passer or stop the run…forget who the QB is that's a recipe for very few wins.

The game was actually close in the first half but the defense just got manhandled.

As far as Kap goes he played ok. I've been his biggest critic but I will at least honest. He had some mistakes but didn't turn the ball over.

Our front 7 is the worst in football. Our safeties are horrid.

We need to fire everybody in the front office and start benching guys on defense and letting all young guys play just so we can see if we have anyone. Bring guys off the street and pray we find 1 guy or else we need to draft 11 defensive guys next year.

At least Cleveland is putting a competitive product on the field. Damn I wanted Hue Jackson.

So did I.

My first choice last year was Gary Kubiak. Going into this year it was Josh McDaniels and then Hue Jackson.

I'm still not ready to call Chip Kelly a failure but something definitely needs to change. Baalke will definitely need to fall on the sword but Chip should buy himself another season…we don't want to be the team that fires their HC every season. Took Oakland a long time to recover from the black mark they got while doing similar chit.

I think the offense needs a legit QB and all the pieces will fall into place. Defense needs to get healthy and upgrade at some key positions. We went from one of the best linebacking groups in the NFL to one of the worst with Bowman getting injured and guys like Harold, Carradine are just not stepping up the way we hoped.

I said heading into this season this was a make or break year for Baalke with a lot of his guys needing to contribute and so far the results have left a lot to be desired. It's hard to blame Armstead and Buckner for poor run D given their age and the fact that in a 3-4 it's really the linebackers that are key in the run defense but it's just not happening. Too many missed tackles, bad positioning.

I was reading an article about Bill Belichick and it's fuking inspiring how much time and effort that dude puts into everything. There's a reason why he's one of the greatest and his guys love him and respect him. We all know he's not right 100% of the time and he's lost games like every other coach but his team knows if something is broke he'll work his ass off to make sure it's fixed and he gets the team as prepared as he can. Hard to say if Chip is a similar guy and I can't blame this season on him, it's hard to win when the talent just isn't there but I certainly hope he has what it takes and we get a GM who can get us the right talent.

I'm perfectly fine with us losing out for a better draft pick but I'm expecting us to compete next year or at least show major improvement.
