Well at least the Warriors and Sharks will be good.

Unfortunately guys we may be fuked for a while until the team is sold or we just luck into some good draft picks which end up turning things around.

We're the new Raiders. Ownership which nobody respects. Team that nobody really wants to play for unless we give them way more money than anyone else. Constant coaching changes…bad bad way of doing business.

Right now we have to pray that whomever is the GM next season KILLS the draft and free agency. We legit cannot afford any early round busts/non starters or poor free agent class.

If we drop the ball again we're officially the raiders because we will have a top 10 pick. Anything can happen but looking at our schedule right now I see 4 winnable games. Bucs at home, @Dolphins, @Bears and Jets at home. I have 0 shame in saying I hope we lose out. Top QB on the board or Myles Garrett get us that impact player. I'd almost lean towards Garrett because he's more of a sure thing.

For any of you who don't watch college football….

He needs to work on his run D but dude has insane pass rush ability. The burst, the different moves…stud as long as he stays healthy.

Then trade for Garoppolo. People are worried about the Pats connection but to me it's a plus to see a kid who has worked with Belichick and Tom Brady. This isn't Matt Cassel. This is a kid who was a highly regarded QB prospect in his own right and the highest QB the Pats have drafted since Drew Bledsoe. The shoulder injury happens to anyone who falls wrong when tackled by a 300 lb Dlman…just like Alex Smith did back in 2006 I think. He's fine now.

Garoppolo in his limited time on the field showed good decision making, quick delivery and good poise in the pocket. It was a short sample size but if anything that may help in draft compensation(assuming the pats even want to trade him). Maybe he'll never be a Tom Brady but he could be a Tony Romo and we can hope that he has a better playoff track record. I would do an Alex Smith like trade for him and not look back. Whether it's Chip Kelly or someone else I think he can fit any scheme.

Garrett + Garoppolo would be a franchise saving move IMO. So go Cleveland and every opponent we face the rest of the season.
I would be down for this. Especially if we draft a QB later on to develop.

Talent wise we're not even close. No Justin, Willis, healthy Bowman, Gore, prime Davis, even Crabtree. Let's be honest, Harbaugh inherited a good roster.

Every promising young player we have keeps getting hurt.

Watching the game right now…ugly game by the defense. Guys just playing like they don't give a fuk. Talented players like Lynch just whiffing on half assed tackles and guys just not playing within the system(if there is one)

I think we need to bring in some vets next season who are very vocal/tough to get some of these young guys to play with passion. Bowman is a great player but he's not vocal. We had Justin Smith who may not have been Ray Lewis level but you sure as hell didn't want to coast when he's around or he'd let you know it. We don't have that player on defense now and we need one.

Need to find someone who can get the young guys playing with more fire and toughness out there.

It's going to take atleast 5 years to bounce back from the last few years. Get used to it boyos. Sad thing is by the time this team has a good roster again, we'll likely be looking for another coach and the cycle will continue. I'm hoping all the PSL owners get together and file a class action law suit against Jed. Sadly the only time **** gets done is when it hurts an owners bank account.

We will have to hit homeruns in the draft and free agency and hope we fix the defense. Then we have to hit offensive homeruns and pick up rookie wrs that produce, a tight end or two, half the O line, a qb and a rb because by then Hyde will be done. Its really sad how far we've fallen down the gutter only because the FO wanted to play cheap and wait a couple of years before rebuilding. It's really depressing to even talk about the Niners as a fan right now.

P.S. Get rid of Kap during the offseason. This team needs actual leaders on the field, not social justice warriors. The lack of leadership is pretty evident on offense and even on defense.

Bills player said Kaep is done, terrible…more of a distraction than contributor.

Figured I'd add considering we were giving so much credence to Bennett's words. I know am the bills player is unnamed but figured it was relevant.

I'm with the clan. Ditch Baalke. So many missed that didn't make the field and those that have, not many developed.

Reid isn't very good and takes terrible angles. Dude gets absolutely torched deep too. I'm not down on the front seven…it can work out.

Kap is definitely done. Doesn't even have the same arm anymore…better than Gabbert but not by much.

Should pretty much wipe the QB depth chart out and start fresh this offseason.

I'd trade for Garoppolo, sign Ryan Nassib and draft another kid to develop later in the draft. If we can't get Garoppolo then I want Luke Falk(assuming Kizer is gone) but the problem is Falk will likely be a mid 1st round prospect by the time we're drafting. I don't like the idea of trading down and possibly missing out on the player you want or the idea of reaching for a guy who you may be able to have later so it's a tough spot for us.

I'm not a huge fan of Watson, I think Kaaya is super overrated and Chad Kelly is a lunatic.

I do like Mitch Trubisky after Falk but he's climbing into first round as well. That's of course assuming all of these guys come out since most of them are not seniors.

I think most of us knew Kaep was done before the Bills game, it was just wishful thinking that he's turn it around. I'd be happy Jed fired Baalke and O'Neil, willing to give Chip another year.

And to top it off Hyde appears to be injured again. Was seen walking around with a sling today. Assuming something to do with his shoulder.

I don't remember players getting hurt this often. My guess is they're too soft in practice, come game-time they're not prepared for the harder hits.

I do not remember either… It seems to be that a lot more injuries are happening around the league. I know that there are more rules in place that limits practices and pads or something. Like you said less time getting used to being/getting hit makes it harder when someone is coming full speed at you.

Sucks about Hyde, and the rest of the injuries. Personally I don't know if there is a way to practice to prevent injuries in a game like football. You can properly prepare for things like sprains and muscle strains, pulls, and tears but even then one weird angle or guy on you can make something bad happen. That said I hate our team being so injured.

Smelter signed to practice squad. Baalke still desperate for one of his ACL all stars to hit. Also Redmond back may offer some depth, good that Ward was practicing cause Robinson prolly won't play from concussion.

Overall would be nice to see this team show some life, and improvement so we have positives to look forward to going forward. I'm not in the tank or let's lose for draft pick group, I root for a win every week regardless how good or bad we are. I just think it will be interesting to see how many people show up Sunday. Also interesting that Jed's cousin one of the Debartolo girls tweeted he needs to go.

I certainly respect that and understand never wanting to root for your team to lose but I'm just curious at what you think the upside is?

The way I see it the draft is definitely a crapshoot but the higher you pick the better the chance you luck into a franchise level player. We've certainly seen plenty of top 10 picks who have been epic busts but we've also seen many a top 10 pick go on to do great things.

This year's class has some very impressive players at the top of the draft and then it gets hazy with guys having questions. Once again our schedule strength screws us so we'll be picking after most teams with the same record as we have…missing out on potential elite talent because of a meaningless win would just eat away at me.

We win two or three more games and nothing really changes…we still have an awful season and changes need to happen. I'm hoping we get a top 2 draft pick and whoever the GM is manages to get us the talent we desperately need so long term we're a better team.

To me it's one step back before a leap forward. Although if we're moving away from Baalke(and I think at this point we have to) I'd wish we'd bring in someone from outside. Gamble is another Baalke/Parcells disciple so I would figure his evaluations and calls on prospects would be similar to Trent. Potentially it could be like switching from Greg Roman to Geep Chryst who was the QB coach under Roman.

Scary time to be a 49ers fan…at least an early draft pick brings hope

I cannot help but laugh at that…. They are trying hard to sell right there. Do you really think a pro Athlete would take an over the counter type of product when they have full disposal of other items? Pretty funny.

I laughed too because of the performance numbers that last game. To be fair i always look behind athletes in locker room interviews to see what they take. You will see all kinds of products if you pay close attention.

lol my father in law was talking about that article a few weeks ago.

I was like…those are fake articles.

Hilarious that they have it about Kaepernick. What next Johnny Manziel? Though i guess he was an easy target cuz he was jacked so it's more of a "look like him and run like him"

The way I see it, at this point I don't care if they lose as long as they show some fight and promise. I rather see the team lose the way they did in the 1st half of the Bills game than the 2nd half. Buckner and Armstead combined well to force a fumble, shame the Niners drive was ruined by a holding call. I want to see a spark so at the very least we know what the biggest needs for next year are, aside from the obvious QB one.

Oh no question I'd rather have us lose close games so it's at least entertaining and we're seeing guys show promise for the future as opposed to getting gashed and looking hopeless and uninterested.

Second is that Trent is hear to stay, at lest until his contract is up.

Sorry meant college…. Typing on my phone sucks.

First saw something pop up on ******** and then I went to bleacher report and then looked at a few other places. There are few articles about Chip, and a couple talking about a leak regarding Trent saying that he is staying.

First saw something pop up on ******** and then I went to bleacher report and then looked at a few other places. There are few articles about Chip, and a couple talking about a leak regarding Trent saying that he is staying.
I did see something saying lots of rumors about Chip maybe going to college will start but it also said we'll hear those rumors about Gruden and Sean Payton. Seems to happen all the time when coaches aren't killing it.

If we continue this downward spiral Trent needs to go. I've been one of his bigger fans but it just hasn't worked out. If Jed totally wants to lose the fan base then keeping Trent will accomplish that fact.

I'm not sure if Chip is the best guy for the job(I'd love to give Josh McDaniels in here and give him another chance) but I'd rather see what he can do next year more so than what Trent can do.

I would just love to see the ownership actually step up and do something. Even if that means firing someone… To have them try to step up and take charge means they want to change, but when was the last time we saw Jed do an interview?
