Holosun is one of the best 1x optics and reasonably priced. You can get a reliable optic for a rifle pretty cheap

Edit: I see the simulpost above. Also a good option

Vortex, Holosun, Primary Arms.

I have moved on from budget optics. Once you taste premium optics…man they are so worth it. I shoot often however. It may not be worth it to those who don't.

How is Vortex? Springfield seems to shill them a lot when they do a product spotlight or show a gun off with an optic.

I'm not super experienced with Vortex, but they obviously have a WIDE range of quality. Garbage all the way to Gucci. Their warranty is pretty awesome.

So I guess it depends exactly which optic(s) you're referring to.

Vortex has a competitive, if not arguably-best, product in a huge number of categories and price ranges. And a best in the business warranty/customer service

Yeah I'm having a hard time finding anything bad about them. I've also heard great things about their warranties and customer service. Unfortunately in 2022 this is very rare. Is there stuff made in the U.S.?

Where the product is made is closely tied to how much it costs. They have a wide product range. Check by specific product. Expect inexpensive to be made in China, better to be made Philippines or Japan or USA or where the **** ever

So the 6 MOA is cheaper by about $23 dollars than the 3 moa, and my FNX will be for home defense until I eventually buy a SBR or pistol AR. So the 6 MOA makes more sense to me. Plus I have prime and I'll get 5% back as well.

https://www.pewpewtactical.com/best-pistol-lights/

I'm also having a tough time deciding between the TLR-2 and the TLR-8. My bias is towards the TLR-8 because of the price difference, but the TLR-2 seems like it can possibly slightly help with recoil and it seems to be more robust and brighter. Is it too bright for home defense? Could it shine off walls and reflections too much?

I'm pretty sure most of Vortex's stuff is made in China. Their premium line of scopes are made in Japan.

The Vortex Venom is made in China.

Thanks Brozef, for the money and what I get, I still think the Venom is worth it. Going to double check prices and other sites, and if that's the best deal I think I'll go for it.

I had the same issue. My instructor just told me to shoot less and shoot slow. Hey gave me some good advice: you’ll get more out of 20 shots an hour focusing on hitting dead center than 200. Dry fire training with a laser helped. My groups are solid right with 3.5 inch Glock. There are better shooters in here I’m sure that could give you better advice but this helped me a lot with breathing stance and how to see my sights properly plus zero to almost no shaking at all.

I would not buy or use a vortex venom

For pistol size/mRDS, the only legitimate options are Trijicon and Holosun

Hey brahs so this is what I got. I had discussion with someone about possibly installing a binary trigger(down the road) but from what I heard it would melt this gun. Or at least that's I was saying.

is this bullchit?
