Islandboyo,

I am reading and watching what I can find about Hinduism.

I was interested since I was a kid but it was hard to get source material back then, now, like I've said, I can get an 8,000 page book for two dollars, so that's great for me.

In addition, I know the movies I'm watching aren't 100% accurate but it is really fun for me to learn new things.

Also, I noticed that the actors in most of the movies must be from the North and are nearly completely European looking. So, I assume they are trying to convey that these are the people from ancient times.

I assume the core stories still fairly accurate with a lot of magical ideas thrown in to make things entertaining and fantastic for people.

I like the idea how in times of trouble god creates avatars of himself to come to Earth and solve problems. I also like the idea of dharma which is said to be word that can't be translated into English, but I understand it easily and live kind of like that myself. So, I take the stories for what they are and take what I can get from them.

I like that India is trying to make high quality and entertaining films. I think they would be popular with people in the West if they could dub them into English. Many have fun visuals and it takes away from that having to read subtitles. I also like to look at the web while watching films and I don't do that with foreign films, but it's something fun and new.

Cigars:

I have smoked a few in my life and then all I can taste is that in my mouth for days.

I can't imagine smoking three a day and then eating food I can taste.

I don't know how you do it.

Only ever had one once with a friend at a cigar bar. Fun, and chill buzz with a drink but I'd rather just SMOKE DAT DERE.

Better effect, still bad on the lungz, but not as bad as tobacco.

@Goobaa sounds like whatever strain or amount you smoked gave you a bit of psychosis srs. No hate, but you gotta gauge the strain vs your tolerance or it'll send you into episodes like you mentioned.

It can be a light psychedelic depending on how heavy the potency is vs your tolerance. But if it ain't for you then it ain't for you, I get it.

EDIT: Wait…you don't lift (likely never have) and all that SHYT you talk…?

How much you benching though for real? I've only been going to the gym 2 times per week lately to bench and do upper body stuff. Getting stronger even though I drink and don't eat. Legs training is an absolute drainer and waste of time

Last time I was in the gym I was benching I think 275 then finished my set and looked around and see all the homos there. Walked out and never went back. Workout in the park now and just go for bike rides plus basic farm stuff. Sitting in the fork tractor picking up hay smoking a cigar is more rewarding

Yeah gym is boring outside of the tight body women. I'm thinking about a home gym. I can roll out the bed in my underwear and just lift.

Also don't get why folks don't do cardio. Bike riding and swimming is GOAT

So boyos, my membership at anytime fitness is due to resume on the 25th of this month.

I haven't lifted in 3 months (lol) and have gotten used to the time I have besides work and fam.

Is 60 dollars a month (cad) worth it for 7-8 lbs of muscle? I am at 195 lbs at 5'9

I just wanna get a 50 lbs, 70 lbs dbs and use those along with the 30s and 20s i already have

Im also subbed to alo moves for yoga. M8s that has helped me tremendously with my back pain lol… only 16 dollars too

So maybe, home gym and yoga is the solution for Am ??

Okay boys, I think its about time to continue our discussion from a thread I made a few days ago. The thread focused on the socially acceptable, but criminal, act of sampling blackberries while browsing for produce. I made the very valid point that because there are so few blackberries in the container, "sampling" even one of them should be an arrest-able offense. Its a degenerate form of thievery; one that is accepted for some reason. I really think that someone in loss prevention needs to have an eye on the blackberries at all times.

Please feel free to share your thoughts as we proceed with this discussion….
