Replaced OHP with CGBP and more bench specific movements, sickening bench gains once I did srs. I found OHP progressed best working with 3x8 Monday then a 1-3RM on Thursday. Working with 5s stalled me early.

Want to know what's not over rated? Sleep… god damnit do I miss doing that. I've slept 6 hours total in the last 3 days, and it sucks SOOOO Much. I've taken melatonin, i've tried ZZZZQuil, I've tried a certain green substance (pls no ban). Nothing seems to make me go to sleep the whole night and turn my brain off.

You've replaced a shoulder movement for a tricep one who gave you more chest strength? I'm confused here.

Not quoting wall of text so reply's will kinda flow in here.

1500cals? Oh man I feel sorry for you I think at my normal cut I'm about 3000cal so I can at least eat throughout the day. I think I'm at about 4000cals right now for maintenance and it's been working.

Careful with BTN work as you can develop shoulder impingement really easily and it's not fun to deal with or get rid of.

Tibi I don't know if you remember FATA55 but it seems like LaughingStorm is kinda like his replacement.

Also with Hunttarded seeing bench gains from increased tri work could mean that he's a tri dominant bencher. There are essentially two types of benching chest dominant and tri dominant. Just depends on what works for you that's really it.

Usually use them when I've been lifting heavy for higher reps. Helps clear the lightheadedness and dizziness.

I am.

Because I can.

Don't like my humor too drawn out. I stick with manlet jokes because they're short.

Yes, who doesn't love a spinner? Though calling a manlet a "man" is being generous.

This is suprisingly accurate.

Except the parts where manlets attract any females, that's just fantasy.

Me? Ya, I'd say so because I always miss halfway to lockout.

After lots of bench volume though I just like to go pull on my band.

I'm a tri bencher since it protects my shoulder much better but I do both for various reasons.

I really thought difference was delt vs lats for benching. Or is that only concerning where your touch point is?

Such is life for us sometimes, i can rarely turn my brain off and have had 2-3 hours sleep/night. Last Friday went to bed at 10:30pm tired as hell from work and the gym woke up at 1:30 tossed until 3:00am then got up for the day. I find i go in cycles of not sleeping and getting up to read a book or walk my dog helps slow my mind enough that i crawl back into bed and pass the f*ck out, however sometimes it just does not work.

I'm the exact same. It's pretty frustrating. I went on drugs to help me sleep for a long time after having kids. Then I got off and some weeks… I just don't sleep. I drift in and out of sleep. But never settle into ACTUAL sleep. It's pretty awful. The getting up after 20 minutes of tossing and doing something else is important. So is turning off all electronics an hour before you plan to go to bed. And having a schedule can help.

I have never done the no electronics before bed i admit i should try it. I have zero issue falling asleep i could drink a red bull and fall asleep the problem is not staying asleep for more than 2-4 hours, usually i need to piss several times a night which is from my understanding the mental part of not sleeping as i do have severe anxiety from time to time.

If you guys are infront of your computers try f.lux (program), I found it does help a bit. When my mind races though, not melatonin nor benadryl do anything. That's what I sometimes have trouble with.

Unrelated, but is Canada Post ever on time? Ever?

Just downloaded that. Same with me. When my mind is thinking about a million different things, my eyes are tired and i'm tired as hell, but I close my eyes and my mind keeps going. Drugs or stuff that should help, can't stop my mind.

I'm glad i'm not the only one this happens to though. I'll be at a hotel in Toronto tonight, so maybe the change of scenery will help out.

Sorta there are several reasons why a person could be either chest or tri bench. But the size of a person, and grip have some reasons. I can go into detail if you want me to.

Also one for your phone. Android has a app called Twilight which works in the same way. Just search for flux or else you'll get a ton of the twilight movie crap.

Too reduce the impact of your triceps on bench, just use a wider grip. It'll stretch the fuk out of your chest. Might be harder on your shoulders but with proper placement of the elbows (tucked in) it should not be straining at all.

Haven't ever done close grip bench, feels so fking awkward man

But my bench has been stuck between 210 and 250 forever and just fluctuates between those values so I'll give it a shot

Thinking of going back to PHAT. Not digging Candito's routine, too powerlifter oriented.
