Proper grip and trigger pull. I need practice too. A lot more practice.

It's everything when it comes to being accurate with a handgun.

Because they are stupid?

Because who in their right mind wants a trigger that fuking shoots when you let go of it?

Because you can shoot a semi automatic plenty fast with a normal trigger?

This helped a lot today at the range.

Low left was almost non-existent.

Brozef that second video gave me a "huh" moment, looking at his finger placement, I used to have the trigger right being my first knuckle. That would probably explain my shots to the left.

firing on trigger release is… "cool", but I wouldn't use it for anything but a range toy, and def not on my only AR.

There are non-binary triggers you can buy if you want to shoot fast. I don't have a recommendation since I don't own any, but they exist.

Spray painted an optic today to go on my OD Green DMR. Not exact but looks good enough. Can always clean it off, re-spray it, or cover it with tape down the line. I used Rust-Oleum in Deep Forest Green. Its a really nice color

Those standard scope rings are going to be miserably low.

Look into getting a cantilever scope mount.

did some research over the weekend on what optic I want to put on my g19 gen 5 (stock slide)

I was dead set on the Primary arms Vulcan Holosun HE509-RD Enclosed.

Negatives:

-some recent videos have surfaced where some have gotten moisture inside. (This optic has one job….to be sealed…yet it's main feature can become its Achilles heal as seals can only do 2 things (work and break). Drop it wrong etc and you have a $500 paperweight.
- Will need slide milled obv but the dimensions are not the standard 509 cut….so a mill job would literally be cut only for this optic. No options for swapping.
- It's a taller mount so even silencer height backup sights for co-witness are likely to not work.

So now I think I'm just going to get the Primary Arms Vulcan Holosun HS507C-X2 or The Primary Arms Vulcan Holosun HE507C-GR-X2

That or an RMR.

I have a 509 (just the dot). Is too big and tall for a pistol IMO. 507, 508, or RMR

Yea was thinking the same. Did like the boxy aperture at first….but its is a bit tall and clunky looking.

No love for the Acro P2? Maybe because of size? I haven't used any of them - yet. I have an M&P 2.0 compact that I'm tempted to outfit with a RDS, so I've been looking but haven't jumped yet.

No regrets on the RMR RM06.

You must remove it to replace the battery.
In my case, I did not have to re-zero. I assume because the cut was so tight (Battle Werx).

Some people don't like the blue tint, but I don't even notice it while I'm practicing.

Very rugged little optic. Go look at the torture tests.

Does the P2 actually exist yet? Even if it does, it needs to exist and be used by a bunch of people for awhile before it can be proven. Also looks like it's massive so IDK about that

Congrats man!

Now buy mags. Lots and lots of 30 round Pmags. Then when you have enough, double it.

It’s in stock every day if you check gun deals Reddit .

Almost impulse bought one without a host for it cause it’s tied goat with RMR.

Yeah, they're pretty chunky. They are available, but pretty tough to get ahold of right now. I hear you on wanting to see some long-term use, before giving a recommendation. From a durability standpoint I will admit that I look at brands like Trijicon and Aimpoint a little differently from most others. They've both shown they are capable of putting out quality products, which can't be said of everyone.

Nice. I thought they were tougher to find.

I've bought guns before because I had an extra scope laying around. Not a bad reason to be honest.

Too many idiots proclaim something to bet he best before it's even in people's hands. Like the first Aimpoint that had to be discontinued because it sucked and people were getting like 1 week battery life.

Let's wait awhile for some legit real world feedback that aimpoint didn't make a POS again

But speaking of optics, check out Primary Arms current clearance. Some really good open box warranty intact deals, like the PA SLx prisms for like $160 and Holosun 507 for $217

yea one of the perks of the Holosuns I'm looking at…..side mounted battery so no need to remove. Will come in handy if always having the "large halo" on along with the aim point as running both apparently eats up battery (10-20k hours)
