i keep my dog under control and dont answer the door without controlling him. Its actually the legal system that justifies the shooting mate, it doesnt care about your petty emotions, cops were in their legal justifications to use force in shooting an aggressive dog. Of all the dog shootings to get pissed about this is not one of them

So now you're comparing civilian pets to trained attack dogs? Logic of peace...that dog didn't present a clear threat. Why didn't the first cop shoot him then? You know, the one who was closer to the dog than the second cop? The one who only drew a baton and not a gun? Why didn't the 1st cop see the same threat?

lmfao you are literally reaching for straws here, as for why the 1st cop didnt well since i cant read minds or know exactly what someone feels it honestly looks like he froze, the dog ran right by him and went straight for the wnd officer who felt threatened and used deadly force, which is legal. If you knew anything about police work you would know that cops are allowed to immediately use deadly force when presented with a situation that could result in serious bodily injury, which a dog is more than capable of. Its not the cops job to risk getting bite by an aggressive dog just so the dumbass owner doesnt have any responsibility. Also yes you can compare trained dogs to other dogs because they have the same weapons, all police dogs are trained to attack on command, so really a civilllian dog that is not trained is actually worse because they cant be stopped without force where as a police dog will stop on command.

Not necessarily. Don't even care about the conversation like that, but a dog that bites won't always rush you if he wants to do it. Sometimes they'll wait on movement, how you react from their bark and if you back up, move the wrong way or whatever, then it'll go for you. But the initial charge, not true with all dogs.
