Not necessarily - they're forced to live in or near London cause that's where most of the jobs/businesses are.

You could work in anything from high finance to construction labouring, and the odds are, London (inc. greater London) is where you're gonna have to be.

There's bound to be some term for that economic effect that capitals & big cities have, but i'm currently too lazy to look it up.
