For many people, this is a more accurate statement - they don't cure depression, it's true. But what is also true is nobody has any idea how any antidepressants work. Not one. I think lithium is comparatively well-understood because it's exactly that - lithium, and we know a lot about it. What's also true is nobody knows what depression is. Nobody even knows what emotions are.

All of which is to say there are many hundreds of antidepressants on the market with many different profiles, and hundreds of millions of people needing relief. It can often be an unfortunate case of trying medications one by one. I took an atypical antipsychotic which was way too hardcore - I slept 18hrs at a stretch and liked it, it wasted the day and put on 7kg in two months, Day of the Dead-style chit but the one I take now is milder and has a very acceptable side-effect profile. Mostly dink and libido issues, but given clinical anxiety doesn't fly well on Tinder tbh that's the absolute least of my worries and to be totally frank a clear benefit, let's be real.

I am pretty sure if laws and karma did not exist, a lot of healthy people would be doing that.

Remember, everyone has a monster living inside. It is just not coming out for one reason or another.
I agree to a point, but strongly believe in natural morality. I think one of organised religion's biggest sins was laying claim to moral impulse - without us you'd all be savages beating each other with clubs. I don't buy that. But it's true - as Louis ck says, the biggest thing preventing murder is the law against murder.

This place is hilarious. Every time a black guy goes and does something like this everyone says that he knew what he was doing and send him to death row. But every time a white boy does something like this it's always he had a mental illness and he wasn't thinking correctly and it was most likely the prescription drugs that he was on. White people are absolutely hilarious at times. Absolutely fascinating stuff

so wonder what triggered him...theres always some sort of provoke...that made this guy go absolutely insane to kill his own parents with a bat.

they mustve abused him, made fun of him or something....if they were nice people nad didnt pick on him...i am certain 90% of any psycho killers wouldnt do that...but unleash their rage on some random stranger instead.
