I wonder what they do with extremely obese people when they die obese (like that Mexican dude that recently died who they did a documentary on)...
Apparently the fattest guy who ever lived (at the time? Don't know if his "record" has been broken since) was buried in a converted piano case. For cremations they sometimes have to saw off limbs to get them to fit into the incinerator with the family's permission.

I knew a fat guy who had been fat his whole life, and he ate at IHOP every morning for breakfast (7 days a week) and ate dinner at a restaurant every night, but had a salad for lunch. Every Thanksgiving/Christmas he would blow up from 240 to around 280 pounds, then slowly get down to his normal weight of 240 again by April or May. I would tell him to put fresh spinach in a blender with protein powder and pour it in his oatmeal, and he would start to vomit because of the spinach. He hated vegetables like brockolie and just flat out refused to eat veggies at all. I told him he needs to eat more fruit, and he said fruit contains natural sugars, so he stays away from them, yet he would put syrup on his pancakes every morning 7 days a week. I told him about essential fats, and he would argue that all fats are unhealthy. He had a phd in philosophy, so he would argue that he knew more than me because he was college educated, yet he was woefully ignorant.

Yep, it is, but they do need the permission. They can't just go and do it but it is a fairly common practice. Most won't accept the person in the first place however.

In Austria once a lady had so much fat on her that had to be burned that it made the furnace get so hot that it set the building on fire.

Fat loss can happen in a coma too.

I'm assuming ketosis would kick in. Sounds like a good deal, you go to sleep fat, and wake up a chad. Let's try it.

It was Cincinnati, not Austria, where the fat made it overheat.

The Austrian one was caused by the person's burning fat to block the air filter, causing the fire:

I realize its rare but its real. Some of these people that are morbidly obese have PWS and have just never been tested...
PWS is a disease of childhood. They have to keep the refrigerator locked and all areas with food bolted down otherwise the kids eat themselves to death. And it is so rare most clinicians practice their entire lives without witnessing a single case. And thyroid disorders can be managed, yeah they have it harder but no excuse to be obese.

they need to do what this chick did. lost 200lbs in 1 year fasting on water salt. next to 0 exercise. the body lived off fat (stored energy for you retards) and salt water (minerals - sodium chloride/potassium chloride). there is no such thing as a natural fat person in the wild. you don't get fat eating berries/meat and whatever else they ate back in the day. being a fat pig is a man-made disease. and they need these fatties to keep eating to keep the economy running. they buy food and medicine. it doesn't matter if you die - another fatty will replace you!

the world record for what you suggest is around 380 days or 390. i forget. anyway, the man that was selected for this study was in the hospital hooked up to water/minerals and he fasted down to 170lbs from around 400lbs. he also lived into his 90s.

WTF? Anyone else see the 600# life episode where the 700lb fatty admitted herself to the hospital for malnutrition? She was gaining weight and the doc said she had to be eating 10k calories per day just to maintain 700lb let alone gain weight. Bish said his recommended diet was killing her.

Just like that weird doc on the show says, metabolism or not, you don't get something from nothing. You can't eat 2k calories per day and gain 30lbs in one month. No disease or disorder can cause you to produce massive amounts of fat without massive amounts of calories.

Does not have to be that much just seeing some 400lbs pull up would already be cool.

It did rustle my jimmies, I was in a program because I had broken the law, and he was the director of that program. No matter how many times we talked about nutrition, we would argue about the key points I brought up in my post, and the next time we discussed it, we would be back at square one with him thinking fruits were bad because they contained natural sugars, and all fats were bad. He was incapable of learning new information.

Most are fat by the time they realise that food makes you fat.

Blame their parents. It's hard to get into the mindset to lose weight, when you've never known what it's like to not be fat.

I think its more of food quantity thing vs actual calories. My father is obese and doesn't eat breakfast. But for lunch it is usually fast food, then some crap tv dinner food for the evening, followed by various snacking and beer. I probably eat more food than him but my food is not as calorie dense by a long shot. Meanwhile, i feel full after some brown rice, 2 eggs, veggies ... yet he can down a diet coke, big mac, and fries and feel hungry again within an hour. The weird dynamics of that is mostly a 20th century problem. 500 years ago you couldn't pop a cosmic brownie the size of your palm and get 400 calories.

I don't know about men, but obese women usually become that way because they were molested as kids and they had terrible parents (or dysfunctional family) and all they could turn too for comfort was food.
