Hmmm... I think there are different social dynamics at play for Asian guys.

They are often portrayed/stereotyped as not being masculine, in regards to dating. So I can understand what may drive some to brag about dating white women.

IMO Asian women aren't portrayed as undesirable in social media or mainstream culture.
I’ve always been attacked for that here, which is ironic considering the only times the race of whomever I’m dating even come up is when I’m harassed for it. Meanwhile every few weeks there are posts or threads about asian miscers getting white girls being the best thing ever, and no one accuses them of white worship.

Not sure why interracial dating has to be stereotyped as worshipping in any way, considering I know for a lot of minorities, access to people from the same ethnic background isn’t all that wide spread.

What you said makes sense in terms of media portrayal. Doesn’t excuse the hypocrisy in individuals’ actions though.
