Private organizations. Half the RN's in the ER where I worked were rolling in around in 2014+ BMW's, Benz etc. A handful of em were rolling around in 2016 Audis and shiet.

People who are saying nurses make only 50k are probably talking about LPN's. Those are not RN's.

must be software/petroleum/west coast.


no one makes 6 figures out of college with no experience in engineering unless they work in the west coast or petroleum engineering.

I don't know any private company that would hire someone with no experience for 6 figures; especially in engineering.That dude got lucky

Nursing on the other hand, you get trained AT school so you could make that much right out of school. It is basically impossible to graduate nursing school without experience. My sister got 95k first job and just got the job before she graduated

Yup, DPC hours usually a requirement. People work as medical assistants, EMTs, hospice, phlebotomy, etc. Almost anything clinical.

Based off my research, if she just "takes the job seriously" it shouldn't be a bad gig. I was reading about a couple horror stories of chitty CRNA's clashing with doctors. Then she left and the doctor had to tell the family. holy chit.
Definitely more responsibility which makes sense considering you're a provider at that point someone's life is in your hands no different than the surgeon. My wife works as a surgery nurse right now so she is very well aware what goes on in those rooms on top of having had multiple surgeries herself.

That's not how economics works. People don't get paid based on how hard they work. Jobs that are more stressful/hard (which is subjective) does not equal higher pay. If that were the case people working the fields picking fruit in the heat of California, people digging ditches with a shovel, and trashmen, sewage workers, construction workers, soldiers, ect would be the highest paid jobs out there.

Work smarter not harder.

And it's too bad women are biologically guaranteed to have a mental breakdown after the second overtime shift, because they can make a chit-ton more than that.

Told my gf I'm leaving her if she doesn't break 100k this year.

Who wants to work with sick people though? If you guys had good immigration policy you'd have hard working Filipinos working for half those salaries
