- feasts every couple months where your family/community gets together and eats, drink wine, dance and have a good time
- religion still exists and you know 100% that when you die you will be spending eternity in paradise with god and those that you love
- cowards and degeneracy was not tolerated. If you steal you get your hand chopped off etc
- men were allowed to be men. If someone causes harm to your honor you are expected to beat/kill them
