Ultimately for a srs answer misc:
-Relationships are all different. People have their wants/needs.

Some dudes want a trophy wife that sits around and doesn't do a damn thing besides look pretty. They pay for a maid to clean, they pay for childcare/nanny while the wife doesn't do chit.

Some dudes want a wife that is as successful or more to make financial stresses easier in life.

Some dudes want a wife that can take care of the home while he works and they live a modest/comfortable life.

Each their own so long as it works for you and you're happy who gives a fuk? Oh ya, fukkin miserable people who want other people's happiness to fail so they can be miserable together.

You also completely ignored what the OP said. I didn't bring up that "Some dudes want a wife that is as successful or more to make financial stresses easier in life." This is about dudes marrying women without any future or who don't even try to take on their own careers. The guy ends up supporting the entire family and becomes miserable. I'm not miserable at all. Besides I think it is good for the family dynamic to have a typical 1950's family.
This is how it is for me and my family. What I made was slightly less than the cost of daycare for our infant. Reason I worked at the job for as long as I did was because I had the flexibility to handle my older child’s special needs (school meetings, doctors appointments, therapy, etc).

I can honestly say we have more of the 1950’s household. I handle the household and children while husband works hard for our family. I don’t sit in my ars all day eating bonbons. I prepare his lunch and have homemade dinner on the table for him when he gets home. While I hate ironing with a passion, I do that for him as well because it’s my job. While he’s at work I send him pictures and videos of the kids and their day so he’s not missing out. Our teen is happy and has more time at home to be a kid and the baby isn’t constantly sick because of daycare germs (or left to cry all day because they have a 4:1 ratio for babies).

Being a stay at home mom is by far the hardest job I’ve had to do. I plan to use the next several years to go back to school, further my education, and when the time comes for the baby to go to school I plan to go back to work.

This validates everything in the OP. Stay at home mom's are not maximizing the potential value of their time and lets be honest, if you're a stay at home mom, most neighborhood kids will come over your house while their parents work, have nice things around their house, and go on exotic vacations more than once per year. Double household income = easier life. As challenging as staying home may be, harder work does not equal an easier life.

Honestly after all these threads I've just reserved marriage for religious, celibate people. Specifically where marriage has been sacred for decades in that persons life and family and she/he has been indoctrinated that marriage is the next step. If that isn't you, move on.

People think it's about dating around until you find the "one" that one guy or girl that is better than the rest you have dated and because you two will presumably understand each other better that's when you "know".

It's not.

Rather, it's two people who understand that marriage is work, the reality is people will change but you want a family, you want to commit to one person, and you want to make it work, regardless of who that person is you choose. There is no one out there in the world you won't argue with or you won't drift apart with at times. When both parties are mature enough to realize that and they have their lives together marriage is appropriate. Right now, people drift apart for the smallest things thinking that it's the person's fault. Everyone makes mistakes, even the richest and most successful men and women. With social media, women and (some) men are able to just text around once things are bad and move on. If that's you, marriage isn't for you.

You need to be the type that forgives and forgets. This is why so many Americans are having trouble. That and the garbage being spread by feminists that their are no gender differences. Men and women are equal, but in different ways. A man and woman who realize that will work well together.

Did you not read her post? She is very much maximizing her value. While you could bash her for not having a viable skill set that grants her more than replacement cost that isn't the easiest thing to do.

So she gave up her career to save on daycare costs, meanwhile could've stayed in her field, obtained raises, her husband obtains raises, and soon daycare costs are a drop in the bucket. By giving up her career her husband is now forced to support the entire family financially. She can make his sandwiches, fold his clothes, do the laundry etc., but he will still pay all of the bills, pay for the groceries, doctor visits, insurance, do i really need to go on?

One person financially supporting the family is exactly what she said it is: a 1950's household thing. With the rise of inflation, college tuition, insurance costs, both spouses need to be bringing in something at the end of every month. You can emotionally agree or disagree with me, but the numbers do not lie.

Successful girls that make my peen hard and win my heart are few and far between.

Generally you can pick two out of the three:

Good looking
Socialized/non autistic
Intelligent/successful

I am moderately successful myself so I don't care about money. I want a fun and cute partner.

It's the path of life. You date all the pretty crazy girls when you are young. Once you are washed out after your failed 2nd marriage to said girl type, you realize that what you need is a loving and caring girl. These girls aren't the dodgy type, so end up "losers"according to current social status measurements. The best thing you can do in your life is to get a decent girl... who is also slim and pretty.
"The manlet is a savage beast that knows no moral bound. After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. They are ruthless and you need to spend some more time in the gutter to even begin trying to comprehend what goes on in their minds."

I wouldn’t say I gave it up, but rather put it on temporary hold. Husband wasn’t forced into anything. This was a decision we sat down and discussed in great detail. Kids won’t be little forever and I’m not planing on making a career out of staying home lol. It’s a temporary hardship for long term happiness. When I go back to work I’ll be armed with a better education with the ability to make even more money. I have high hopes to help our kids get trough college as well as save for our retirement. It does take money these days, and we know we will need more of it in the future. While we do have only one income now, we aren’t going without. We can more than afford our nice lifestyle with a lot of luxuries. It just worked better for our family right now for me to stay home.

Well you sound like you have the mindset of someone who actually wants to try in life and someone who this thread isn't aimed at. Like said above though, if it's extended, you're putting a serious dent in your capabilities to be re-entered into the workforce.

I don't think it's wrong to be materialistic. As long as you work for what you want.
Materialistic things can be milestones for your life/relationship/etc. It's important to celebrate those things.

They onus falls on the employer, they are the ones choosing to hire others. They are the ones making it so that taking extended family leave is a sin in america. My wifes brother just started his portion of family leave. Think its like 6-8 months at 85% of his pay. Wife gf just finished hers so she will go back to work. But they arent from america, they are from cuckland of high taxes and socialized medicine. How terrible.

It's like everything else involving girls: men basically operate on a sliding scale of looks.

If a girl looks like this, no man on Earth is going to give a **** if she works at Target.

But if she's a chubby 3 or 4 and works at Target, then a lot of guys are going to bounce. She's going to have to bring something else to the table.

Same reason why guys with deal with mentally ****ed up "project girls" if they're way out of their league, while fat girls need to have a personality.

And regarding the OP:
just lol at some of the guys I know getting married this fall to their washout girlfriends

> brb liberal arts majors
> brb making poverty salaries
> brb no life outside of work and their relationship
> brb almost all the women want kids within the next 2 years
> brb never go to the gym

Can't wait to see these fukers in a few years with 10 kids and complaining about how hard they have it when you choose your own future and lifestyle.
all I gotta ask are how hot are the girls and how desperate are the guys.

all I gotta ask are how hot are the girls and how desperate are the guys.

Just take a look at the life that even a halfway pretty girl leads nowadays... it’s ridiculous.

EDIT: Jesus lol.... Maylie is rustled something fierce. Calm down sis.
this is the truth, as long as a beautiful girl is not a moron, she will have a comfortable life.

I exclusively date trashy or poorer women. Think waitresses, retail, hairdresser, etc.

It's the best.

- Bring them back to the bachelor pad, and they've never seen something so nice.
- Ride around in a 2017 or newer and they think you're rich
- Willing to do anything to be on this level, you crazy sex freaks

Like they get mesmerized by a $100K a year and from there it's easy.

Yeah but you don't marry them. Nothing wrong with smashing girls like that, but when you start tying knots with women like that you're setting yourself up for failure.

Absolutely fuking not lol. Smash as long as you can, then when you ready to settle down go get some 24 or 25 year old that wants to be a wife.
