Mexico is extremely dangerous, but cartels are less likely to kill you then some hood thugs from Chicago

A stroll around dark places of the internet is all you need to understand one thing:

Stay Out Of Border Towns & Hot Zones In Mexico

Those areas make the soldiers/scientists of Unit 731 (Japanese WWII human testing prison) seem like Carebears.

Yup, a few months back. That doesn't even come close to the worst stuff.

After cycling across the USA I've wanted to do the arctic circle to the bottom of south america. But latin american is just too risky. Make one wrong turn, see one thing you weren't supposed to, and your life is gone. And you better hope its just a bullet and not someone looking to make sport of you.

^^Agreed.

Sicario 2 actually does a reasonable job of explaining how much of a prize it is to enlist young american hispanic teens with a clean record into the drug trade.

I've met two women in recent times that have let their teenage daughters go to border towns for mission trips. I've never berstared two women so hard in my life. TJ is actually better than the places along Texas.

A wider audience has made this a sickening game. This is what happens when you have no real law enforcement, no consequences, you can rule with brutality and fear.

I live in Mexico, born in this same city 27 years ago (Chihuahua).

Those kids were definitely not randomly chosen, but im willing to bet that what they did to earn that was simple as fuk. I could 100% believe if someone told me that they were just dancing with some hot mexican chicks on a random club, then a coked up cartel guy got horny and tried to steal them from them in a very straightforward manner, and the alpha inside of the gringos probably got them into a fist fight with the wrong guys.

A smart cartel dude wouldnt go as far as torturing and killing an american for something as trivial as that, but a not-so-smart one who is also coked up his mind, who also had a bad day because he found his cousin got killed in a deal gone wrong, well yeah that gringo is getting tortured.

Not saying that this is what happened, just saying that "bad moment bad place" kind of **** could easily be the explanation here.

I went to south padre island for spring break back in my college days. On the bus ride from corpus christy a mexican guy warned us "what ever you do dont go to mexico. They will abduct people like you and demand ransom from your parents and kill you once they get the money, then boil got body in a vat of acid." We didnt cross the border. Border towns are war zones

I mean I don't know if there is an explanation for this, maybe it was random or maybe they got involved in something they shouldn't have. But just imagine one moment you're a teenager in school and the next you're on your knees with a gun to your head knowing your life is over. Just imagine that was you... ****ing crazy.

One of the teens murdered was actually from Tijuana. I'm curious how the two teens from San Diego knew this kid and whether the kid from TJ may have played a role in trying to set up his 'friends' to get robbed, only to be a part of a bigger plot to get all 3 robbed and killed.

for those with morbid curiosity about cartel torture there is an even worse video than the funky town video. All you have to do is google "Father and son murdered by cartel members. Father gets head decapitated and son gets his heart ripped out." Title is pretty self explanatory but it just shows how little value human life has to these peoples.

So, that's lost but all the drug that get into the states, that must be an even more giant amount. That's means drugs aren't being made in basements but rather very large factories.

Unless the US secretly wants all of this black market crap coming here, it seems like if would be easy to find these factories and either directly bomb them or covertly do so.

Mexico, etc is actually more or a threat to our society that islam is and the GIANT criminal organizations should have their means of production destroyed.

Why isn't this happening?

Yeah, I think so.

It's too blatant to go unaddressed. I mean, with all the technology we have it can't be a secret where drugs are made and we know what country they come from.

I don't entirely believe this, but:

I remember a politician said to me that it was generally hoped that all the black people in the area would just kill themselves. That's why money wasn't being put into getting rid of poverty and poor conditions in the city.

When living in Denver, weed became legal. It was assumed that a massive number of people would start using. However, there was almost no charge. So, druggies will buy drugs and people who aren't won't.

Duggies have a poor moral and psychological state, so encouraging their destruction has a certain merit to it.

My opinion is that we must give people a chance to be better and have a clean environment to create change. In a messed up way, muslims do this by banning everything and making it so that average people can't be tempted easily. They do it based on dishonest principles as they lie about supernatural things, but I get it.

We ought to destroy drug factories because I don't enjoy living in a country with tons of crime and debauchery.

Unfortunately, don't usually watch those type of videos but it got sent to me.... has to be one of the worse ones out there, dude squealing while getting all his limbs cut off one at a time. Then when he's just a torso on the ground, still alive, they start beating him over the head with his own leg. Alot of fukked up **** goes on down there.

They absolutely have the tech and power to shut it all down. For certain they can track most of the communication mediums used. The only reason they don't is because these groups can operate and accomplish things under the radar that real people in power cant be seen doing. A lot of the Snowden info is pretty eye-opening regarding how capable the US government is.

The poor, uneducated, and less fortunate have always been preyed on in democracies all the way back to Roman times. The black community has been voting democratic for almost 100 years now and their situation as a whole has not improved much if at all. Still mind-blowing that they were convinced in the early 1900s to start voting for the party of slavery. That is some impressive wizardry.
