There is more to this story for sure. I live near the border in San Diego and I never go to TJ, Just not worth the risk and I have been all over the world is all sorts of crappy places.

I also dont do drug deals with cartels and screw them over which is most likely what happened here.

Yes, I wouldn't visit a place where I wouldn't feel safe roaming around and exploring.

Talked to my Argentinian friend today. She said South America is super dangerous, there isn't really anywhere that is safe even in the "rich" areas of cities. She told me don't realize how good we have it in North America. Yet, we have people complaining all day about stupid trivial stuff. Disgusting really.

Yet it's racist to say you're against having an open border and letting the floodgates open for all people south of the border to pour in. Fact of the matter is that in Brazil and Mexico murder is basically a daily occurrence people are just use to at this point that largely goes unchecked. If we let all these people flood in there's no getting around there's going to be a large amount of murderers/violent criminals along for the ride. What they need to be doing is all coming together to fix their nations problems instead of looking to the US for free handouts when we can't even take care of all our own people currently.

been at a huge club in TJ and got caught up in a club shooting had to run and duck. **** was unreal, couple peoople died and the whole place was surronded by mexican federalis in 5 minutes...

I dont see a point visiting a place which requires armed marines as standard to keep the peace and even then these guys role up with 30 and 50 cal weapons bolted to a stolen truck that has custom steel plates attached to it. Not that tourists are the target but I refuse to give money to an area infested with those roaches.
