Pics like that don't really do chit to me anymore. They are no way near real enough, look staged as phuck and kinda cringeworthy.

For record I am a kiss-less virgin at 36, so have advanced to a new level of virginity, so to speak. I am passed that 'I didn't get any teenage love' as it was so damn long ago. Went through my 20s without any of that and now over half of my 30s. You find yourself caring less and less as you get older.

For anybody who wants to know, teenage love sucked, was full of drama that didn't have to be there and required that everything be more effort than it actually was supposed to be.

The worst part of teenage love was not knowing all of that from the start.

The actual experience was okay. I don't miss a lot of the hurdles that I had to jump through to do things as a kid. I had more than one girlfriend in high school. One of those relationships lasted for quite some time.

I'm going to be honest with you, the real fun stuff happened in my adult life, when I grew as a person and got to really explore myself. As a kid, you will never be able to be deeply introspective and everything is surface level.

Don't fetishize 16 year old love, it was never about anything more than hormonal imbalance. I had fun, don't get me wrong, but I would not go back to high school.
