You'd rather be able to hit the ball really far then actually be good?

I think it’s a bit like snooker or darts..your eyes line up a certain way, or they don’t, it’s genetic. The best were better than me the first time they ever picked up a putter, a cue or a dart.

Anyway short answer, yes I will try and qualify for a few events as an amateur if I can get down near scratch

Love people like you. Always counting their cash out to me in the bar whilst talking about the drive they nutted on 12

It’s an epidemic round here.

Make ridiculous claims with no evidence that end up getting disproved anyway
Call out others on genuine achievements and run the other way when challenged

No offense man, as I'm sure you score really well, but the guys above are kind of right. You do swing like the older guys I occasionally play with when I tee off early morning. And, yes, they typically score better than I do.

In fact, the old guys usually piss me off when they do score better than I and can't hit a 200 yard drive. 400 yard par 4 usually goes something like. Driver 185 yards - 3/5 wood 150 yards - pitch - putt = PAR. The only holes they seem to bogey are the par 5's.
Then, it gets worse for me when after every shot I hit they say, "I used to be able to hit it that far."
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

At my club we call them "senior tee bandits". can't reach the green in 2 but they'll get up and down 90% of the time. half them here chip with hybrids to near perfection.

I have flipped a golf cart and flown out more than once (on accident) and shoot in the 80s and 90s but I still enjoy playing golf. I use TaylorMade burner clubs and my great grandfathers putter from like the ****en 70s heh but I like it.

Key to golf is not getting in trouble, not duffing chips and not 3 jacking on the greens.

Sam this is a fitness forum, no one cares about your game at the dog park or cow pasture you call a country club.

No offense taken. I was trying to explain the above swing is a practise drill (since I’m switching to a 1 plane swing). Obviously I didn’t get to a 2 handicap burbling it 200 yards.

New video, 3 wood fades off the deck, closer to proper speed. I don’t doubt there will still be people ITT insisting I’m burbling it 130 yards (FYI these are a little over 200 carry which again, isn’t long, but golf is about being ‘long enough’ which I am..)

I offered you a game about 12 times, said I would come to you, it was easy money for you..and you pissed your pants and ran off.

And if you think any of those were 160 yards, you’re an even bigger fukkin idiot than I realised, as well as a chicken.

^ HeyZeus, I’ll give you an example. I personally can’t stand bobdigit on this forum. I think he’s a smug self righteous narcissist who negs me on threads that have zero to do with him, just because.

Now, Im not one of those who says there is little to no skill in powerlifting, or that it’s ultimately down to how much creatine you take. Fact is, he squats more than I do, and THEREFORE you won’t find a single post from me claiming he’s rubbish at squatting or that I could beat him at it.

You, though, sneer at my videos, say that I’m terrible at golf..and then, when I call you out and offer to play you anywhere, any time, for any amount of money, you run away snivelling like the pathetic child you are. See the difference?

Imbecile.
