My niece just started Mt. Holyoke college.

Dozens of kids are allowed to have animals in their dorm rooms as 'emotional support animals'.

She is from Ukraine, 'emotional support animals' does not exist there.

Prison term for owners, put down the dog. Who cares if it's a demographic issue, it doesn't change the results and statistics. Unless you have a good idea to change the type of owners who buy pitbulls then no-one wants to hear the excuses. I hear this failed argument for a lot of human-related problems as well.

Shoot the pit bull right in front of the owner, bill him for the bullets and the time of the officer including travel time, and then hang the pit bull owner in the public square

Actually fairly srs

fkn lMAO at a pit pull as 'emotional support'

but to be honest also fkn L M A O at trying to cash in 1 milly when your kid suffers absolutely no permanent damage. Looks like she fell down and thats it, probably more scared at her trash mother screeching in her face after the incident

Oh yea and this is just another data point to add to the case to never let your guard down with children + dogs (especially pit bulls). People who don't realize this and post baby/dog crib selfies piss me off

I would sue for a milly too and then settle for 250k.
If you are retarded enough to use a pit as a support dog then you deserve the consequences when it attacks a child

Hate to say it, but after reading the details of her injuries this morning, the lawsuit isn't excessive. These weren't just scratches. There's apparently nerve and tendon damage and she needed reconstructive surgery to her eye. Bills are already six figures.

My guess is the airport will likely end up paying because "emotional support" animals are usually a load of bull**** and they shouldn't have let the animal walk free in the terminal, regardless of what provoked it.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

not all pit bulls will eat an infant, but almost all infants eaten are eaten by pit bulls. If you defend this dog as perfectly safe you represent an actual physical threat to the people around you.

Imo all pitbulls should be put down. They might be nice. But, they will always carry that killer instinct and cause the dog to go into attack mode at random times.

A pitbull raised properly will be no more dangerous than a small, docile dog. I'm more afraid of a chihuahua than I am a pitbull (srs).

You only hear about it because the media makes pitbulls out to be the devil. They get ratings. Pitbulls are fantastic dogs when raised properly.
lol yeah right you're scared of chihuahuas more than pitbulls.

How can a pitbull be an emotional support animal, it's more of just a normal pet dog. I have a friend who has 2-3 pitbulls and they're nice dogs, but they're very strong. People should be ready to hold back their pit bulls if it ever got excited / angry, even if it's the nice one.

But seriously, a bunny would be a better emotional support animal. And every kid that sees a bunny gets super excited and can spend several minutes wanting to pet a bunny. My bunnies have made kids cry when the parents want to leave, but the kid refuses, and they have to force the kid to leave.

I don't think pits should be banned but if one tries to flex Imma shoot it's ass without hesitation. I have a tshirt that says "pitbulls that flex get shot on sight" that gets a lot of mixed reactions.

We can take our dogs almost anywhere in Alberta. I take my dog on buses & trains once a week as I drop him off at daycare since it's too cold for walks.

He's also a 10 lb hyper allergenic Toy Poodle that's been socialized to children & adults.
I usually just carry him in my jacket though since it's -30 out & on top of my gym bag on the transit.

An untrained pitbull is deadly especially when the owner is dumb enough too register it as an emotional support dog when it's not properly socialized.

A student at my university has been training a guide dog & I have lot's of respect for people that can give it up like that.
