I'm sure there are secular 20 something virgins out there, but like you say, I doubt they are the kind of women that OP would want to date.

I agree that the slutty culture has been created by men who seek them out. Back when my mom and dad were dating, women were heavily encouraged to wait until marriage because men didn't want "used goods". If women slept around everyone in the social circle (or town) knew about it, including the parents and that woman got a bad rep. She was stuck choosing from a pool of lesser men, like alcoholics and losers.
