I’m fit, not skinny. At 5'6'' to 5'7'' and 160 you're right on the edge of normal and overweight, I think--maybe 1lb over a BMI of 25. Given that female bodybuilders our height COMPETE in the 140s, you'd need a female bodybuilder level of muscle to have healthy body fat %. I would guess your body fat is over 30%. That is fine--I think women are healthy up to something like 33%--but it is not ideal. I don't mean to be mean at all here, but women who lift tend to delude ourselves that we have more muscle than we do.
Also, a picture of jeans is meaningless. Jeans are vanity-sized even when the label seems like it reads inch measurements. They're rarely accurate. Body pics would be better, or some other metric like a body composition test.
I've been lifting for a long time. I weigh 135 at 5'6''. I'm still at least 20% body fat. I looked fine at 152 but my body fat was too high to have the fit look, and the mastery of my own body weight, that I think is optimal for good health and performance.

as for people calling you skinny, people nowadays are used to the inflated mean so perceive normal weight as skinny.

23% for a woman is quite lean. I suppose leanness doesn't always correlate with max lifts, though?

I posted a thread that had a pic of me plus a video of me doing pullups, so I'm not gonna do that again. Dig for it in my history if you like.

I made a decent push to get down to a lower body fat % and my weight just bounced between 145 and 150. I felt really good at 145 and would prefer to be about 10 pounds less than I am right now. Life has just been extra complicated for awhile. Right now I'm dealing with anemia. Tried a pilates class a couple of weeks ago and got badly winded/faint from just a few body weight split squats.

At 160 I’ve been DEXAd at 23% and I’m nowhere near a bodybuilder who have far lower BF
I’m also frequently called LTC on here despite tits and ass like Katya has
I like a soft but strong aesthetic
I’m currently unable to stop eating tho and got mogged in the gym by some ratty kid so soft is winning

Oh and to make the 5’3.5 170lb 38.5 inch waist better... recent Gallup survey shows more Americans are obese this decade... yet FEWER of them (the ones categorized as obese) feel they need to lose weight.
I know everyone loves the hustle on the misc but ya know... work life balance is a thing. And work alone is basically robbing me of that already.

Anytime my weight starts heading above 140 that's where it starts to get ugly. In clothes it's easy to hide and you can't even tell. Standing naked in front of the mirror tells the real story. I'm not being hard on myself, I'm being completely honest.

Meant to quote Katya too. I hear you on the yo-yo'ing between 5 lbs. I've pretty much been doing that for over a year. I can't get to a weight and stay there. One day I'm 134, the next even after eating the same exact way I'm 136. Meh. Long as I stay within this range I'm ok with it. Can't see much from that pic but you don't look fat in the least.
