Yes OP. So fukin tired of my generation (and younger) saying they’re depressed or have anxiety. They’re just avoiding their issues and crying for attention, thinking that will solve anything. It’s fuking pathetic. Identify your issues, make a plan to solve each, and start working on them one by one. Bye bye “depression”.

Depression has many causes. The following are the primary culprits:

1. Being female
95% of females are ugly and undesirable. Not worthy of being part of the dating-pool. Dogs & Dildos for the 95%'ers. Knowing they are rejects makes them angry and causes them to lash out. The same can be said for their mothers, who were lucky to get married and have kids as they were from a generation that really didn't have much else to do than having families.

2. Being naive
The world is a cruel and cold place. Naive people will curl up into fetal positions nightly and cope their ways through life

3. Being a failed psycopath
Always shilling and always faking it to make it. The transition from this state of mind to accepting reality (the naive mind-set) is a brutal pill to swallow. This pushes them into extreme behaviors like violence and substance abuse

What is really funny is that we are our own worsts enemies. Depression is usually self inflicted apart from the naive. They are just not made for this world.

I'd say yes and no. If you are living a life that sucks, incel, antisocial, no ambition then no chit you will become depressed.

But there are plenty of successful and motivated people who have real clinical depression, vs what tons of people think is "depression."
