You've been here since 2013. It's already over for you.

You may as well just post a rear glute spread at this point.

And maybe I'm cynical, but a single woman in her 30's who attention whores on social media is going to be carrying a lot of baggage almost always. These days most people have baggage, but this woman is no special prize.

I, for one, was admiring her back gainz.

Also, I find it amusing that OP has been divorced twice and is trying to help out incel retards on the misc. Should we also get financial advice from a stock trader who is flat broke due to making the wrong picks? Seems similar to me...

I'm a successfully married miscer so far... so I'll give my takes.

Stay away from:

1. Social media chicks. If they post pics multiple times a day that aren't business related stay the fuk away. Monkey branchers the lot of them

2. Women who've slept your friends. They'll do it to you too...

3. If the woman brings up meeting a male celebrity on the first date go NC immediately. Gold diggers and cleat chasers are the scum of the earth and the farther away from their ilk you stay the better

Strive for:

1. Women who share your values

2. Women who dress modestly. Despite what many young women think you dress modestly and sexy at the same time. Nothing wrong with some cleavage but you don't need thewholetit hanging out

3. Women who challenge you to be the best version of yourself.

[QUOTE=katya422 post_id=1617474051]Strong bump.

And I've been told I should "try women" because I haven't done great with men. But I don't think all men are cheaters, or all men suck.

I really miss being in a relationship sometimes. And sometimes I would just like to get laid.

Then I think about actually trying to meet people and date...

I wrote out a small essay; can't post it as a reply in any way, shape and form.

I advise this if you are getting 'access denied' messages...

Copy and paste each paragraph into the advance post display, and then hit the preview post button.

Whichever paragraph triggers the 'access denied' needs to be changed.

Keep going by paragraph until it previews without a problem.

See that y'all kept busy while I was away.

- woman has 2 pics of this nature out of 200+ pics
- both pics were before she posted about being married AFAICT
- don't think she was 30 when those pics were taken

Most recent pic:

And I never said she was "ideal", just that she was living as a wife and mother.

Why is that women, even older women who've been divorced multiple times, are always wildly Pro-marriage?

By definition, marriage was invented control female sexuality by forcing the vast majority to pair off with bottom 80% men. It's anti-female choice in its original design.

I have not been divorced nor am I pro marriage. But if someone wants to get married, they should discuss certain issues beforehand. It's just practical.

In theory, all else unchanged women should be 100% anti-marriage because it artificially restricts their mating choices and goes against natural instincts. It was designed to help the average dude by stopping Chad from monopolizing all the pussy.

So what does it say about the contract itself if women are the ones still pushing for it?

The contract benefits the party that has the least money. If it's okay for a Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn publicly say that she doesn't want to get married because she doesn't want to give away her money, the same should go for men. Funny that I never hear any famous guy saying that, though, and if they did, it would be frowned upon.

Yep.

I'm not anti-marriage, but I don't think it is for everyone either.

Children do better with two parents and children with married parents do better than children with unmarried parents. So if you want children then I'm pro-marriage.

If you don't want children then do whatever you like.

ETA: On marriage increasing family stability.
One estimate suggests thatby the time they turn 9, more than 20% of U.S. children born to a married couple and over 50% of those born to a cohabiting couple will have experienced the breakup of their parents, for instance. The declining stability of families is linked both to increases in cohabiting relationships, which tend to be less long-lasting than marriages, as well as long-term increases in divorce. Indeed, half of solo parents in 2017 (52%) had been married at one time, and the same is true for about one-third of cohabiting parents (35%).

Yeah, they have children and they seem to have same interest and lifestyle and if they have religion and extended family etc. marriage makes sense..for them.

I'm not necessarily pro marriage. I do believe in marriage though and I think it's important when kids are involved. I'm also not anti marriage. Unless there are major signs as to why a couple shouldn't get married, I wouldn't try to discourage someone from marrying.

Marriage makes sense for the woman, because there is almost no risk and all upside for her.

It's an entirely different prospect for men. Marriage contract laws were drawn up during a time when women's labor had no value and they were social pariahs if they decided to dissolve their family via divorce.

I guess I look at it more as a strict property contract that is heavily one sided.

What advice would you give to someone who asked your advice about a business contract and said, "I want to bet my business partner everything I own that he will always want to be in business with me. If he ever decides to go into business with someone else instead, he will take the bulk of my wealth and continue to force me to pay him for potentially decades longer. And I get... tradition I guess? Also a small tax break."

Have you checked out current divorce laws recently at all? Because it really doesn't look like that in most states anymore. In most states you have to be married at least 10 years for spousal support to be awarded and it is for a limited time period calculated against the length of the marriage. Only 7 states even have permanent alimony as an option. I'm not aware of any state that awards "the bulk of my wealth" to an ex spouse. 50-50 is possible though. Assets AND debts are shared.

Marriage is declining.

Do you know which demographics are most likely to get married?

People that are more educated and wealthier.

So men who (by your reckoning) have more to lose in a divorce are the ones still most likely to choose marriage and also to marry before having children.

Seems they must see some benefit, yes?

It benefits children, likely because it creates social and financial pressure to stay together and work through problems. Srs.

It's not as literally or figuratively easy to break up when it's a marriage vs a relationship without a marriage.

I'm sure it varies a lot, even within the same state. But when you consider most men are bringing assets + earning potential into a marriage and most young women have 0 or negative net worth, it makes that 50/50 pill a little tougher to swallow.

And most of the formerly middle class divorced dads I know ended up living like peasants anyway because they are now supporting 1.5 households.

It's not as literally or figuratively easy to break up when it's a marriage vs a relationship without a marriage.
But the pressure is mostly on the man. He is the one who goes to the poor house in the divorce. The woman gets a nice check and then monkey branches to the next provider as soon as she wants.

That's the reality of marriage when the balance of power is so skewed. It used to be women faced poverty and becoming a social outcast if she filed for divorce. She couldn't find her next provider on her phone while wearing sweatpants.
