Sloots come and go but moms are forever
Get to know your parents: you never know when they'll be gone for good.
Be nice to your siblings: they're your best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.
Enjoy your body: use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it or of what other people think of it: it's the greatest instrument you'll ever own.

Can't help but imagine the one's last words to the other before they began their final descent were "I know you fukked my boyfriend".
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Operational pilots fly with instructor pilots all the time. She could have been a fully qualified pilot in command, with thousands of hours. The only reason I would say that isn’t the case is because she was in a trainer and not an operational aircraft. Maybe she was training to be an instructor pilot?

It's not like you plan on having a mishap.
It's like someone saying student drivers shouldn't be allowed on the roadway.

There is always a plan for a mishap. Contingencies discussed in detail for many different unanticipated events prior to the flight, constantly looking for fields or roads to land on in case of engine failure (especially single engine). If you have a second to think, you should be thinking “if this happened right now, what would I do?”
Again though, we are all humans and get caught up in routine.
Just like driving. You feel comfortable texting on your phone because it hasn’t resulted in a crash before and you have done it a million times. You are expecting all other drivers to do their job (which for the most part they do). We all get complacent in the comfort of the policies and systems in place keeping us safe.

I've flown GA. Yes there are procedures.
What I was saying was there's never been a time I've gone up that when I got in the plane I said today is the day I crash so I'm going to avoid these areas.
Training and planning ahead of time is just good sense.
For example knowing what's out in front of the airfield in case you loose engine on takeoff so you don't make the fatal turn back to the field.
