Note 20 Ultra owner checking in.
I've used both over the years.
The camera is better on my iPhone 11 than my Note 20, no question.
The notifications on Android have always been better.
Messaging on Android is better as it learns your messaging style. The iPhone messaging is just so stupid... that's a deal breaker for me. How after 15 years does a phone still say 'ducking' when I'm trying to curse...
The build quality of Apple destroys the Samsung.
My Note's screen blacked out after 3 weeks and took a week to fix... unlucky? Never happened with my iPhone. Shouldn't happen with a top tier Samsung.
I'll probably go back to Apple after this phone to be honest, as much as I don't want to.

Couple years ago I woulda said user preference because Androids finally became decently usable (despite being ugly and tacky designs)
But these days I would consider them unbuyable and would not touch them with my personal data and I dont recommend anyone does either.
Apple is the last bastion of digital privacy and the way they handle privacy vs everyone else is night and day and really the only way to do in the wake of what is going on in the digital world.
I think you google cels have no idea just how victimized and vulnerable you really are and have no clue about online security

my daily driver is an lg g8 and my work phone is an iphone 11.
i dont touch my iphone except to turn it off/on
- no back button
- no headphone jack
- no AOD
- no fingerprint sensor
- worse notifications design
- no way to watch youtube without ads for free
- less customizability/options in the settings
- no sd card slot
and it was only recently that they added splitscreen multitasking and the ability to customize the homescreen/widgets, etc.
apple has a garbage OS with good hardware. the OS is more important to me, so it's android all the way for me

people with a “work iPhone” always comment they “dont use it”
like mfker thats cuz you dont have a Mac computer and dont keep all your contacts and primary data on it
of course your not using it. its literally the thing that makes it better is the eco system thats your fault
its not like the iPhone is special because it has “extras” or is a toy.
its the best Os and best eco system to keep your private pictures emails contacts messages calanders and reminders on.
you should be in fact backwards using iOS for your main home base and tooling around with the other nerd toys not vice versa.

the only thing that would make me even consider getting an iphone for personal use is the longevity (they handle OS updates better and they receive security updates for longer)

Their both the same thing with some better features here and there.
Proud S20 ultra owner checking in.
BRB using the 100x zoom to spy on mahfackers
Also lol @ the whole 'privacy' debate - i learned a long time ago that privacy doesn't exist, so it's better to just not be weird than to worry about whose spying on your pictures or search history.

Apple makes money from selling you their devices and other iCloud services.
Google makes money by selling your data and using your data
Apple makes money again from obvious money grabs such as hardware and other apple services (icloud/app store/in app purchases)
From a security/privavy point of view its pretty obvious which cares more about your privacy and data

No company wants cp hosted on their servers?
Image hashing is the process of using an algorithm to assign a unique hash value to an image. Duplicate copies of the image all have the exact same hash value. For this reason, it is sometimes referred to as a 'digital fingerprint'.

But again i dont keep up to date with security/mobile news anymore so there could be other exploits out there in the wild who knows but your information is never 100% secured doesn't matter what any company claims esp end to end encryption with Google they 100% scan your data before its encrypted
What happens when you lose your phone? Androids are dead focking easy to bypass all those info are now on someone elses hand

Based on my knowledge and experience if you actually want to have a safe form of data storage, you need a seperate computer that doesn't connect online in anyway - now you're safe and can no longer be compromised.

In reality all these smartphones can be hacked in one way or the other. But what bothers me is that these Appleshill Copium Fanboys try to flaunt the "Superior Benefits" of being Fleeced by Apple with their Gimmick Fashion Keeping with the Jones Potatotard Phones.
Oh wow you own an Apple iToilet as well? Great you have the Complete Ecocucksimpsystem and have been completely bamboozled out of your cash.
Most Applesoyshill Fanboys do not even know why they are buying Apple products other than the thought "Everyone uses Apple and I do not want to be Uncool or Left Out" This type of sheep follower herd mentality is ridiculous.
Buy a product not because of any brand, logo or company makes it. Buy the product because it is the best bang for the buck you can get.
I do not follow any brands, I choose which one offers me the most for the $.
I could care less what Low IQ Sheep Followers Opinions' of what they think is "Cool"
