I would say that around 95% of all businesses will be closed if the hurricane does a direct hit. They don't even offer emergency services in most areas until after the risk of the storm has subsided.

The last hurricane that hit my area a few years back was pretty intense and we live inland by 100 miles or so. Police officers were getting calls for people wanting to evacuate during the storm and they were told that the officers could not come get them.

As a good father and husband you should stay with her and comfort your child while going thru this. It’s not good relationship goals to split up at a time like this. It’s only a 2 hour drive if you want to go back to Tampa and check things out. The best thing about the resort is the electricity usually never goes out and if it does they are the ones that usually get it back on first.

Yeah I split I’m divorced 6+ years. My ex wife and her husband Are going to be protecting my kid and her step siblings. That’s on them . Most my buddies drinking with me tonight all have kids too. But none of them will be here with the booze and the weed. And the cards. And food as everyone will be getting the munchies.

I told them all my pantry is off limited but feel free to raid the fridge and better off just BYO (bring your own).
