I was never a lazy person. I’ve always outworked everyone around me. Why? Because I like having things. I’m not satisfied with a bare minimum existence. But a lot of people are, and we’re seeing the consequences of that. You know what my reward is for working hard? Taking on the work of the slackers and carrying their water too. I do it because again, I care about moving up and making more money, and it makes me look more competent. But damn if it doesn’t irk me just how lazy and disincentivized people are.
