One of them, her father owned an airline and was given anything she ever asked for growing up. The other grew up dirt poor and was made fun of by the other kids in school for not having nice clothes. I've dated wealthy and poor. I'd take the latter any day of the week.

That said, values are more important. And my main point is that western women have lost traditional values and gender roles. EVEN the ones that act trad and claim they are, still have the western feminist mindset.

He moved to ***** to work on an oil rig and regularly took vacations to Thailand. While there he met a girl and began dating, and it got serious. After a few years he started having a house build in Thailand for them to move into. Her family was dogchit poor (I met them when me and my ex went to Thailand to meet with her dad), their 'house' had no windows because of the humidity and just a hole in the floor to take a dump in, real poverty.
I saw them together a lot and they seemed to get on well, but I had suspicions. He kept saying how cringe it was when he saw British expats in local bars with Thai girls, old/middle aged men, kept saying his relationship wasn't like that at all.
Long story short she kept asking for more and more money even when this guy was fkin building them a house. Eventually they split up and he was heart broken.

One of the things that stood out to me was how much music was everywhere, and how much of it was American. Jeepneys always had music blaring. Sidecars and petticabs often had sound systems. See anything new there that really stood out to you. You already mentioned poverty. Most guys on here have no idea what that really looks like.
