I also did a full moon party on Koh Pagnan but Phi Phi was 10 times better imo. It was like a smaller FM party every night and it was better because it was smaller FM was too spread out Phi Phi everything was on a 200ft stretch on the beach with the hostels literally on the beach, they doubled as the club/bar so you could just take chicks round back to your room.

This is why I keep telling Ibby to backpack/hostelmaxx in SEA even he would get a free shag.

Agree, I’ve done Full Moon as well, and although it’s fun, it’s way more mainstream and cliquey and often you’re not staying on the island so you take the ferry at 6am and feel like ass for an entire day. Phi Phi is the bomb.

I did stay on the island but the other side so had to get a songthaw to and from the beach. Phi Phi has the perfect logistics and I prefer the smaller scale, it's cheaper too.

Thanks for the info brah. Only reason we’re doing 5 nights in Bangkok altogether is because one of my best friends is headed back from Vietnam on our last 2 days so I want to catch him before I go home as he lives here now (he’s Thai).
I checked and we are 6 mins walk from the wood bar lol.

Regarding Phuket, we’ve not actually booked anything yet (hotels etc). We land in the afternoon Friday 23rd and fly back the afternoon of Wednesday 28th. Where would you recommend we spend our weekend? Phuket or Phi Phi? All I know is I want to do a boat tour around Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon on one of the days, but ideally we’ll do that during one of the days we’re already staying on Phi Phi as you can get picked up at Ao Ton San pier.

Any other recommendations for our next few days in Bangkok also? We only booked this 2 weeks ago and figured we’d wing it, most of our planning energy has gone into ***** and Miami which is next month.

Also the temperatures like 36°C sunny all week.

A girl in ***** recommended the Ibiza party hostel and it looks great, dirt cheap too, so I might even stay a night or 2 there.

In Bangkok, I'd go to the Mad Monkey Bar Crawl, as that's a good way to meet some ladies(or just start the night at the Mad Monkey Bar area). But otherwise go to the Ko San Road area and party. Do a Ping Pong Show. Take a bunch of balloons of Nitrous Oxide etc.

It's kinda bad traffic around Phuket, so you want to stay close to Bangala Road. Preferably walking distance. I stayed in this crappy hotel that was like $30 per night that was close, but it was no frills but great location. That's the move.
