If everyone was conscientious and hard working it could work.
Ironically the working classes are the least concientious and care the least about helping their fellow man.

Let’s put it this way, I can buy an air conditioning unit that states in the manual that it will decrease the temperature of a certain square footage room to a certain degree over x amount of time. But if that cannot be demonstrated, then it really does not matter what the manufacturer states.

All of those who fantasize about Communism, they always picture themselves as the one on top, running things, they don't picture themselves tolling away in a factory, and living in a one bedroom project like apartment complex, or waiting to collect enough points for the government to give them a car......

For argument's sake lets say communism/socialism would work fine. There is the thing, the same mutherfkrs that manipulate the current system would just manipulate that system. If fact it seems like those systems are easier to corrupt and manipulate.

Regardless, Marxism is Marx's published works. Individual liberty is foundational in those works.
This fact is evidenced by the referenced quote above from 1845.

He was a father who didn't provide for his wife and children who nearly starved and lived in hideous poverty.
