For men its just age dependent. At a certain age still living with parents or room mates is kind of looked down upon. But at the same time 'struggling' financially because you live alone ain't great either. In my experience a lot of girls kind of expect guys to be financially stable/independent. Especially when he's in his 30s.

I was single/dating casually into my early 30s. Some of the girls I dated/hooked up with were 18-24. They come over to a guys house that's over 30. They kind of expect a nice truck in the drive-way and a nice/fully furnished home that I live alone in. It wasn't impressive to them. It was normal and expected. They wouldn't have cared if I'd have had a nice apartment either. But a nice home is a status symbol for a single brah.
Yeah that's not how it works in real life though. Women try to move men in all the time. If she likes you and knows she'll save 50% on bills she'll definitely try convincing you to move in with her.

Any guy who gets women knows this.

dumb thread.

your living situation only matters to women if you don't have a reason for it. doesn't even have to be a good reason. I dated 2 girls for 3-4 years each, renting a room out of a friends house in the more detached parts of San Diego, while said friend's mom lived there.

Now dating another while I live with 2 roommates who are 2 of my best friends. Is it ideal? definitely not. but it is what it is, and it isn't always terrible, nor is it an immediate dealbreaker for many women, especially in this economy lol.

For women, roommates is by far a better situation than living with parents but if she's into you pretty much anything goes.

For savings, living at home is better. but as stated by some in this thread, many don't actually save that money, but spend it elsewhere they might not have been able to if they were renting. vacations, material goods, drugs/alcohol, etc.

yeah i'd say dudes that easily get women know this because it's just always been their life…some of them even push their luck and steal from them or get them involved someway in their criminal behavior. don't know how many times i've heard women complaining about a boyfriend that's lazy and won't work, spends all their money (sometimes in the form of borrowing) or runs up credit cards.

i wish i could retire early
lmao this is fukin retarded. has a 1.5m property even if its financed and cant afford to rent an studio apartment? Now if the parents are living in a huge masion when its just convenient to crash there whenever he feels like then yeah makes sense. Still any man needs its own space every now a then to fully develop as a man and not stay a child.

the post is about how not living alone/on your own is perceived by women, comparing roommates vs living with parents.
